Can anybody relate?

I just got off the phone with the NVC and there is no sign yet of my case! This is really hard for me cause I the beneficiary... am doing pretty much all the work and "running around" for this because my partner is currently on deployment.

Trying to stay positive. Trying even harder to keep my cool.

Filed in March. Noa2 Approved in June. No sign of my case yet.

Argh! Fustration!

I have been also waiting for the petition to be at the NVC since June 18. We are on the same side of the page. I think it is too early to judge the day, we got the whole day until midnight to get good news. Don’t give up, since it was a weekend for the last couple of days, NVC was not working and I hope very soon they will get it in their system.

Good luck

my NOA2 notice date is July 5th, i guess i should not be calling everyday.

What exactly does the NVC do with?

When should i be worried? If they do not have it be the 15 day

They keep telling me 15 days, but i see others it was only 2-5 day issue? why longer for others?

is there anything NVC can do to make it longer? more background checks? more info needed? credit check? anything?

Argh! Fustration!

The latest NOA2 approval date in the timeline right now is 6/16 for California NOA2s.. For the past 5-6 weeks they have averaging one NVC receive for every two NOA2 approvals.. Assuming they keep that pace this week you can assume approvals this for 6/16, 6/17, 6/18 NOA2s with possible some 6/18s spilling into early next week.

A couple of things could upset that timeline: 1) This assumes they keep doing what they have been doing.. At some point they will pick up the pace and start catching up. and 2) All the nvcreceive@state.gov emails may start pushing things out of order - so we may see some later approvals this week at the expense of those 6/16 - 6/18 people that did not complain at the 15 day mark... All depends on how NVC handles the requests..

So long story short.. haven't a clue! But 6/18 is pretty close :) I hope you get good news this week.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect
