Hi, my I-130 for my wife arrived in Chicago Tuesday and has already been routed to CSC. Any other March 2011 CSC people waiting on NOA2? (I have only gotten the electronic version of NOA1 by the way).

Yes!!! I received the hard copy of the NOA1 for Kana's visa today. It is dated 03/03/11.

Any other March filers for CSC? I would like to start compiling stats/do a database or something.

I know it's early and we all have a long wait ahead of us, but we might as well keep each other company in the meantime....

Hello Benigo,

Congratulations on submitting your I-130! B-) It's a long process and so is the prep time.

I will be joining you soon as a March CR1/I-130 filer. Been going through all our papers with a fine tooth-comb to make sure I didn't miss anything or leave items blank. Each section has a cover sheet describing contents and pages are labeled with tabs for ease of locating documents.

More than likely, I'll be mailing my package by the end of this week or definitely, next week...no later.

And to EVERYONE in this forum....thank you so much for the step by step guides! I've learned so much from each of you and your experiences.

Greetings everyone.. Technically I filed that last day of February but my NOA1 was in March so I am a straddler and plan on bugging people in both threads :)

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Im a march filler now, we sent the forms 25th of feb, But they got sent back because my husband did the money order for slightly more than the required amount! DONT ASK :bonk: ! Glad i filled out all the forms! They also said they were in the wrong order- i didnt see that as a requirement, yes its helpful, but i didnt think it really mattered (the E form was in the middle instead of the top).

Anyway we sent it off again Monday, and everything is now in order, so will await the E notification.

Yeah, sweetheart, it took me a long time to put together my I-130 packet. I was being a perfectionist like you. Especially about the evidence! On the other hand, at some point I realized that I just needed to get the thing sent off because I wanted to start the process as soon as I could!

I know I will have to wait up to 9 months to see my wife again, so what difference does another week of putting a packet together make, but still one less week of waiting to see here again is one less week of waiting!

Hello everyone!

My husband and I are also March filers ( I am the USC ). I just sent off our I-130 on the 8th. I too was stressing about the paper work and all the evidence of relationship but at some point I also said heck with it and sent it off. If there is a problem they will def. let me know. I hope mine doesn't get sent back due to our E form being in the back vs the front. I didn't think of it till the end and had already put all that we were sending in order on the cover sheet.

Oh well, time will tell.

Good luck to everyone!! It will be interesting to see how all of our time lines compare through out the next couple of months.

I did the same thing, but i think it only got sent back due to the money order being wrong. Hopefully they see the form and notify you. We put the form at the front this time, but still dont know if it arrived as we still didn't get tracking.

Hi,

My husband and I are also march filers! We sent out our I-130 on march 7 and got delivery and signature confirmation on march 9. The kicker is that USPS automatically gave us a different +4 code (the 4 digits behind the zipcode) than the one on the form. When my husband asked about it, the post office told him that the code did not matter for a P.O. box.

I'm sure the USPS people know what they are talking about, but I've also read on VJ that different applications get sent to the same address with other +4 codes, none of which happen to be the one we were told to use. Not really sure what to think. Right now, nothing to do but hope for the best. We have our fingers crossed!

Hoping for good news soon.

Good luck everyone! :)

I submitted papers on 3/8/11, post office said they were delivered yesterday! Just waiting on our NOA1 now...

Ugh, its been more than a year since we decided we wanted to live together, then got married about 11 months ago and started exploring avenues to get her moved in with me. Got most of it mostly figured out but now we have *another* 6-8 months to wait! hehe I don't know if I can stay sane for much longer =P

Glad to be on the home stretch though, this sure has been more difficult than we first imagined! Also glad to see quite a few others are march filers too. This'll give us a place to grow in angst together! =D
