Long line, only about three people working, I-94 was sent electronically so didn’t receive physical copy at POE. They opened and kept sealed packet. Asked about previous ESTAs and ESTA denials and visits to America, asked how we met, and was let through. |

LAX was a ghost town. Usually, there are Automated Passport Control Kiosks that you can walk to and enter your info. All 50 of them were shut down. We walked to the immigration officer booth, he looked confused about her visa, made a phone call, and then stamped her passport. His only question was verifying the mailing address for the green card, and then he said, "Welcome to the USA." |

Very quick. I was with my (US citizen) husband. Because the CR1 visa is not an option on the "custom electronic booth" (I don't know how to call it), I had to fill out the little blue form, we all used to fill out before (it is the form to give away to the customs, where you declare: where you come from, how much money you are bringing with you, if you are bringing any food, etc. I had no questions whatsoever. The officer stamped my Visa and put the date of the day. |
