POE was smooth. However, it took around 1.5 hours to get through the line and then, more waiting for the secondary processing.
If you have a connecting flight, be sure to take this into consideration. You need enough time to get through passport control/immigration, pick up your checked luggage, go through customs, drop off checked luggage, TSA security check and get to your departure terminal/gate.
Just to be on the safe side, I'd recommend at least a 3-4 hour layover if you need to take a connecting flight from your POE. |

CBP personnel didn't seem knowledgeable about current social security card + visa packet situation. Had to tell them that IV packet was in CCD to get the ball rolling, they were very friendly though and fairly quick.
They said that we'd have to go to social security office to get SSN+card, but it was mailed to us. |

I didn’t have any issue upon arrival at the airport., the black lady who received me was very receptive and all smiling. She even made a joke by saying “you came prepared†when I told her I have a copy of my marriage certificate here with me if she wants one to serve as evidence that I’ve been married for 2yrs now. |

Everything was perfect. Went through regular line with my US husband and then was instructed to wait on the tripod area where they stamped my passport, checked my permanent address and gave me information about the stamp and about the time frame to receive the card in the mail.
It was a pleasure to enter the country through this wonderful POE! Took around 30 minutes at 5.30am |
