October 13, 2022 case updated to say previous finger prints will be used.
December 13, 2022 - February 14, 2023 - there was no traction on my lifting of conditions before I sent in my N-400 application on 6/15/2022 (a year later). Then both were in limbo. I finally got a notification in November that my N-400 interview was 12/13/2022. When I went for the interview, the officer seemed to be surprised my Lifting of Conditions was still not approved and he said he'd have to review that too and so he couldn't make a decision at that time. Sadly, I heard nothing back for MONTHS. Finally on February 13, 2023 I was desperate and panicking and started sending messages inquiring about my lost approval letter. On February 14, 2023, i got a response to my inquiry which seems to have come from the field office i went to, saying that their records say I had been approved. And later that day my status in the system that I could check online also changed. SO -- my advice for anyone going in for their N-400 interview and still no green card and they dont approve both on the stop or within a month (for no good reason, i.e., you didn't have any complications in your case) start sending inquiries. |
