Jamal & Carole Morocco Vermont No Morocco 2009-06-23 N/A WE MET ON 10/12/08 ON TAGGED.COM TALKED ON THE PHONE AND MSN FOR 10 MONTHS ... I WENT AND MET JAMAL IN MOROCCO ON 6/9/09 WE MARRIED 6/23/09 IN MOROCCO :) 7/29/09 ... I RECEIVED MY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE IN THE MAIL FROM MOROCCO :) ... IT APPEARS WE ARE LEGALLY MARRIED ... I PROCEEDED IMMEDIATELY TO FIND OUT HOW TO FILE IT IN U.S.A. BY CALLING VITAL STATISTICS IN MY CITY ... NO-ONE KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT ... I CALLED IMMIGRATION AND SHE TOLD ME STEP-BY-STEP WHAT I WILL NEED TO DO TO BRING JAMAL HERE. SHE IS SENDING ME THE 1-130 FORMS AND THE G-325A FORMS ... BIOGRAPHICAL FORM ... THE FEE FOR THE I-130 IS 355.00 DOLLARS WITH NO FEE WAIVERS AVAILABLE I WILL NOW WAIT FOR THE FORMS TO ARRIVE 8/3/09 - THE I-130 forms and the G-325A's ARRIVED IN THE MAIL ... Now, I just wait to have the money to send it in. I was told by 3 people at USCIS that I could indeed apply for a fee waiver for the I-130, so I did. I sent in ALL the papers and 2 weeks later they came back rejected and said I needed to re-send them with the fee. I have yet to be able to come up with the money to do this, as I have had one emergency after the next since my return from Morocco. I have not seen or touched my husband in over a year and I don't know if I ever will again. I don't know what to do or what we will do, because we also need a co-sponsor. I have been looking and asking people for over a year now if they will help us and no-one, including the Islamic Center in my city wants to help us. I am beside myself. I love and adore my husband enormously and he does me, but right now all this looks to be quite impossible ... If you read this and you feel you can help, please let me know. Thanks. 2010-08-24

I was not allowed to accompany him at his interview. He said the interview itself took around 5-10 minutes, but the waiting was VERY long. He was finished at about 1PM. His questions from what he remembered in random order as follows: 1. What is your wife's full name? 2. When did you get married? 3. What does your wife do for a living? 4. What is your wife's address in the us? 5. How did you meet? 6. Explain about the times you have been in the us previously 7. The CO asked to see our wedding photos and asked to also see (1) photo that was unrelated to the wedding. The CO commented on the photos and then asked the final question. 7. How many times has your wife traveled to see you after the wedding? My husband replied and said "5 times, for a matter of fact, she's outside right now". The CO said to him "She's outside?. My husband said "yes". The CO then says "Wow, well Sir congratulations, you are APPROVED. He gave him the form 221(g) with instructions on how to return his passport and medical. (Medical was not ready at the time of interview, therefore we were put on ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING). We sent in the medical a week after the interview and we received a status of ISSUED on 12-29-2017. Processing took a little over a week due to embassy's closing for the Christmas holidays. My husband said, everyone was pleasant and the process did not rack his nerves. But it racked mine. LOL. 2018-01-03
