We had to be there at 8.15 am but walked in even 30 minutes earlier. After the security check, an officer called me up and I was fingerprinted once again, and he asked for my birthdate and what I was there for. Then we had to sit down again for the real interview. About 10 minutes later, another officer came into the waiting area and first took my husband with him. About 10 minutes later he came back to get me and brought me in the same room where my husband was sitting already. The officer was very friendly and did not want to see any further paperwork. He then started asking a few personal questions - about my family (first name of parents, whether I have siblings, their names, if they have kids, about our children, then he started asking questions about how we met, then about how we are living (amount of bedrooms, bathrooms, how many people live in our house, how many and what type of cars we have). That all went real easy and then he already told me that I was approved. We were in there no longer than 35 minutes. The greencard then came by mail a week later. | 2022-04-08

Interview notice on June 26th, 2019 to attend interview in Indianapolis, IN August 15, 2019. Quick interview, 10-15 minutes. Asked to see our kids birth certificates, we had our 4 month old with us. He asked the silly terrorist and communist questions from the application and said we’re approved. He watched us check in and saw us with the baby. We didn’t sit in the waiting room, called straight to the interview. | 2019-09-20

K1 | Charlotte NC | 2019-03-05 | 2019-08-08 | 2019-08-15 | 2019-08-29 | The interview was very simple. Most questions were the same as on the application. I did hire an interpreter because my fiancee's English was not good. The interviewer did not ask for any of the updated financial info or personal info updated since the K-1 visa ap. (A lot of hours spent on this updated info!!) | 2020-02-14
