Appointment was scheduled for following day with no real explanation as to why ours was never scheduled. USCIS officer said it's because of overload of interviews. 2019-10-07 - Received letter from USCIS for AOS interview schedule. 2019-11-04 - AOS Interview - 9:30 AM @ San Antonio USCIS office. Waited in waiting room for about 40 minutes, then interview was about 23 minutes long. Officer was very nice and friendly. No immediate approval but approval expected. 2019-11-09 - Received a text from USCIS, status update to "Card was mailed to me", stating Nov 7th 2019 the card was sent to us. Looked in my mailbox and greencard was there. 2019-11-13 - Applied for SSN at local SSA office, this time with success.	2023-06-14

New site updated next day. Status changed to "Interview scheduled" on 9/17/2019 - old site. New site updated next day. Interview: There was no one at any of the windows when we arrived and I had to ask an IO that was calling someone's name whether we needed to check-in or not and if there was a number system. They said yes and no there was no number system. IO was nice and asked about how we met and where we got married etc. Then, asked random questions based on info from the applications (wife and daughter). Finally, went through all the disqualification questions at the end of the applications. At the end she said that as long as the evidence I gave her (lease, bank statements, credit card statements, electric bill, health insurance card, life insurance benificiary statement, photographs) looked good she would approve us that afternoon (interview took place at 9:30am). Next morning the new site updated to "Case must be reviewed". Not very comforting given her statement the day before. After 9 days (Saturday morning), status updated to "New card being is produced" on new site. Yay!	2024-01-19
