Jae & Brandon F-1 Chicago IL 2019-06-14 2019-06-20 2019-08-20 2019-07-10 2020-02-05 2020-02-05 Yes 2020-02-14 My husband and I had a really nice immigration officer when we had our interview. Although the wait was long, but the interview was short and easy. At first, she asked my name and my maiden name, my date of birth and then she asked for our passports. She asked my husband's name and his date of birth. She took a picture of me and my got my fingerprints. She asked my social security number and the day I came to the United States. Then she asked my husband of the names of my parents. She also asked how we met. She then went through all the yes and no questions from the the form in which all I did was to say no many many times. She asked for additional evidences in which I was able to provide our joint bank accounts, joint utility bills, joint costco account and recent pictures with family and friends. She was very appreciative on how organized I was in arranging everything that it made her job so easy. After that, she said we just have to wait for the approval from the FBI then will get my green card in 3-4 weeks. It was not as bad as I expected because as long as the relationship is bonafide, then there should be no problems with the process. 2020-02-18
