My fiancé arrived at 6:30am at the US Embassy-Manila as his appointment was at 7:10am. At the prescreening, he was asked for the documents he brought (especially my Cenomar, as I am a naturalized US citizen). When he was interviewed by a female CO who my fiancé said was really nice and she only asked him how we met, what I do for work, which countries he visited, and when he plans to leave for the US. The CO typed something on her computer then he was given 2 pieces of white paper and said “Congratulations, you’re approved!†Overall, he said the interview went really well.

Interview Date: March 14, 2019, 7:10AM
Case Approved: March 14, 2019, 9:10AM
My fiance and I booked a room at Red Planet Manila Bay the day before the interview. I highly recommend Red Planet since it is walking distance to the US Embassy and the rooms are clean and decent. They have good deals in their app so make sure to download it.
We got at the US Embassy around 6:30AM, a lot of people were lined up already. If you are comfortable to wait, I would highly suggest to be there at least an hour before the interview.
Once you enter the US Embassy, they will ask for your DS160 confirmation and put a sticker on it. You will undergo through some steps after some security checks.
1. Data Enty - the Filipino lady asked for DS160, 2x2 picture and passport
2. Pre Screening - the Filipino lady asked for our DS160, passport, Cenomar, birth cert, BPI deposit slip, NBI clearance and the 'DO NOT Open' folder from SLEC. She also as... read complete review

Everything was done in an orderly fashion. Staff are present to guide and usher people in. I didn't get bombarded by a barrage of questions by the interviewers. They asked relevant questions, and interview didn't last for 2-3 minutes. I like this embassy

Our interview appointment was at 7:10 am. We arrived about 6 am and stood in the 7:10 line. I forgot my watch at home so I’m not able to give the exact times of the step by step process.
We start the process about 6:30 outside when my fiancé was are asked to put her passport in a ziploc bag. Then she were asked for the DS-160 and they looked for my fiancé’s name and put a sticker on her DS-160. My fiancé goes thru the foreigner door and my daughter and I go thru the US Citizens side. We sat in the chairs outside for about 5 minutes before we all got in line to go inside the Embassy.
Once inside we did the bag check and went to our designated area. When it was our turn we went to the 1st pre-screen window. The lady at the pre-screen window even asked me some questions and I seen from the packet in front of her she had everything I mailed in our I-129f packet. After the pre-screen we sat down a bit then my fiancé went to ... read complete review
