She had an amazingly easy interview at the US Embassy in Manila. I accompanied her to witness the whole thing. We spent a lot of time gathering photos and back-and forth messages, documents having both our names on it (title on car I bought us, rental lease). Also, I had a very detailed Affidavit of Support document. Well at her interview they didn't ask for any of that...just some standard "how did we meet", "how many times I come to visit", "where do we plan to live in the US". One thing, however, and I'm glad I was there as I was asked to come to the interview counter to clear up if I was a resident or not. I have visited my fiancé around 15+ times since 2010 so the interviewer thought I might be a resident. I'm recently retired (as of 2017) so between coming twice a year while I was working, then staying longer on extended visa visits I guess that raised some concern. The interviewer never asked to see my passport stamps or visas, just wanted clarification. After that, she ... read complete review

I really can’t complain too much about our experience. Our interview had to be rescheduled 3 times due to Sputum test, and embassy training schedule. However Once we finally arrived we were initially confused as there were no clear instructions or signage available for those arriving for their appointments. There was a couple hundred people already lined up once we got there. Filipinos love queuing up early. Which makes no difference as you aren’t allowed in until15 minutes prior to your appointment time. In our case we spent 15-20 minutes just trying to figure out which door or line was for appointments. Important to remember that people visit for a variety of embassy business, I.e, birth registrations, tourist visa, immigrant visa, K1 visas and much more. I do think it helped that I went with my fiancé as being a US citizen go us in front of the crowd. In fact we never had to wait long at all. Our time was very brief, less than 30 minutes once we made it through the ... read complete review

Everyone there has been helpful.
Everything was done smoothly.
Prescreen:
I was asked to submit my BC, Cenomar, Medical, Passport new and old (since I have been in the us for j1 and my old visa is attached in my old passport) and DS260.
He asked for my name, age and my fiance's name age and location.
He asked if I have been in the US and said yes(thats why he asked for my old passport)
I was also asked what is my job and my fiance's.
After that, I was asked to proceed to finger printing.
during the interview:
I was only asked for few questions but the consul didnt ask for any document.
What is your name and your fiance's
What is his job
How did you meet your fiance?
Where is your fiance living now?
Have you been married? and what about your fiance?
Do you have kids? and your fiance?
The interview was so fast and it was less than... read complete review
