On April 17, 2018 I had my interview at us embassy Manila. Came there alone at around 4 am something and there were already a lot of people seating in rented chairs outside. I did not have any problem during the security check. I left all my electronic devices in my hotel room (put them inside a safe) and I also I did not bring the following; cd, usb, headsets, candies and chewing gum, wristwatches, any liquid not allowed and any other battery operated that I didn't mention. So don't ever forgot to NOT bring these things or else you will have to pay for someone outside to hold it for you.
Anyway, I will not make this longer. It was easy as long as you know your petitioner really well and don't be nervous. I had prepared everything but my beautiful american lady interviewer only asked mostly about my petitioner. Describe how we met and how he proposed. What is his job? Where he lives? Was he married before? does he have kids? What did my petitioner told me.. Pictures toge... read complete review

Experience was great! It's very humbling experience for us.
Our schedule was at 8:40 but arrived at the Embassy gate at 6am. Went in the standing line and was able to get in at 7:40am. Me and my son was assigned different letters for interview line but was instructed to go on mine anyway because my son is a minor. Got to Pre-interview with a very nice Pinay so we spoke Tagalog and English, she asked my personal information, where and when we met (on Tinder), if we met IRL and how often. She also asked when did we got married. She also asked my son if they are also talking. All of these were asked while she's asking for our civil documents. She also asked for a photo, I brought a lot of photos but decided to show her the one with my husband's family in Cabo, Mexico. She told me to show that to the Consul if she ask for it. And then because our case was expedited at NVC stage, she asked for my husband's recent W2 and individual tax return, which I have prepared. I asked i... read complete review

they processed the interview visa very efficiently. The most important prior to you being allowed to enter is ds160 confirmation form, They will give you ziplock where you will put your recent passport.
Pre-screening interview: she was nice, not the typical intimidating one. Though she wasnt friendly to the person whom she interviewed prior, because he lack some documents/ he presented an expired nbi clearance. she asked for my birth certificate, cenomar and NBI clearance. She asked me whats my name, who petitioned me, whats my birthday, how we met. How we started our relationship. When did we meet during the start of our relationship since mine started online, though ive met him through a family friend before and when was the last time i saw him. Do we have previous marriages, kids. my fiance is filipino- born, and he only move to the US when he was 21. so she asked me if I have his CENOMAR, which I luckily prepared.
Interview with the consul: he was nic... read complete review

I strongly recommend the USC attends the interview with the beneficiary. We can hear the questions from other COs and beneficiaries without USC were definitely asked more questions.
We arrived at 6:00 for the 6:40 appointment. They were very organized and at 6:35 we went to the greeters where we were given plastic bags for our passports. We showed the DS-160 receipt and they were led into the building. I took their phones and went in the US Citizen’s area where they put all the phones in a plastic bin and handed me a equipment check card. They also took my drivers license to put in the bin with all of our phones.
Pre-registration was next. The Filipino was very professional and had obviously don’t this many times before. They way he organized all the papers and scanned them in was amazing. He is the one who noticed that my fiancées name was misspelled on her daughter’s birth certificate. He told us we would need an NBI report usin... read complete review
