Has your MIL have ever been outside the RF? How did it go?
Lots of factors may delay getting a 'travel permit' for the FSB emplyees. It depends on department/directorate/division/subdivision/unit/operation, position & access type to a classified/unclassified data. I know people who are 'nevyezdnye' forever. If the employees belong to the 'vyezdnye' category, it usually takes ~2-3 months..
Hope she'll be granted permission soon. Good luck!

Guys! Sorry! I am reading this and I feel like I am in twilight zone! Really! Monitoring someone's internet?? Are you serious?? If you do this you may as well just give up and divorce! I think this is one most damaging thing you can do to your mate. Start monitoring their activities. This is damaging to the relationship, unethical and humiliating to yourself. Don't do this! Be a man! Don't lower yourself to this. It can be that she is depressed. I doubt it. I do not know her motives. I can tell you from my previous marriage: 1 year before I filed for divorce I started feeling when my ex-wife touches me I want to immediately get her hand off me. This means that person does not love another person. This is for sure. No counseling will help. It is absolutely irrelevant if she used you for green card or she lost her feelings once already here or you made her mad. I would not recommend anything but just file for divorce. She is a big girl and will figure out her way back home.

You are not "smart enough". You are ignorant. Vaccines do not cure, they PREVENT. If you are not smart enough to know this then I would recommend going back to high school before making important decisions.

No one insulted your fiancee. People were trying to help. If you decide to bring mail order bride from a thrird world country here this is your business as long as you and she complies with the requirement of THIS country. The bottom line is that you will have a HUGE problem either at the embassy or at the AOS stage.

As I was saying, you are ABSOLUTELY WRONG. Interviewer knows HOW LONG it takes to get a divorce. Interviewer also knows that often couples meet at the conferences and other places and this leads to divorce of previous marriages. This is life and MUCH more natural then getting mail order bride from another country via internet. I had exactly this situation where I met my fiancee, got divorced. Not a single RFE OR a single question at the interview. AND my consulate was in Russia which is much higher fraud country then Italy. OP, do not wait. Divorce will take a long time as is! Please, file immediately after divorce. I did this just like many other people.

I do not see it as a red flag. Obviously, he has to get divorced first. However, DO NOT WAIT A SINGLE DAY AFTER THE DIVORCE. File immediately for I129F! I did the same. We got engaged BEFORE I was officially divorced and I applied for I129F the next day after I received my divorce decree! Literally! All my documents were prepared and stuff and my lawyer sent them out the next day! No problem at all! Don't wait! This is not a problem at all.

Immigration is a privilege, not a right. She doesn't have the right to be here... she has to ask for permission and follow the rules. She has the right to stay in the Philippines and not put anything in her body, not the right to come here and do so. We all knew the religion angle was phony by the rude talk anyway.
And to say vaccines don't cure anything, I suggest you take a very basic science lesson, because there is a huge body of proof.

If she just did not do vaccination this would be OK. She could do vaccination here in US. However, she STATED THAT SHE WILL NOT DO IT FOR RELIGIOUS REASONS. This is a HUGE difference. She basically stated that she will NEVER do it.
Agreed! I think she and her US fiance should both go live in Phillippines.

I love when people on this site are trying to come here and bashing US simultaneously. I hope this people would be revealed somehow and reported to DHS to refuse them visa. Personally I don't want anyone here that says bad things about my country.

I think it is because she tried to justify her decision by saying how screwed up America is with debt and heart disease. She didn't even know that the Philippines has a higher heart disease rate than America and the Philippines gets buckets of money from America. It's sheer ignorance and arrogance, and we wonder why such a person wants to live here.

This whole topic is ridiculous. If the truth is told, he probably didn't want his name on anything because his religion forbids him from paying interest. It gets on my nerves that MENA guys want to build a credit history but don't want their name on anything. Not only that, but this guy has been talking to someone if he's only been here 7 months and he's already trying to figure out how to get some of what she probably worked years to obtain. She should send him packing back to Egypt with his suitcase and clothes which is more than likely what he showed up with.

He came to US. So HE IS THE ONE that should be adapting to our culture. I am tired of people coming here and expecting everyone here adapting to THEIR culture. This is United States of America! If she went to Egypt, then I agree she should be the one adapting. And don't tell me that younger MENA man fell for older non-muslim woman. Just a fraud.

    I love this thread.
If I remember right, in the Arab culture, the man is suppose to support the wife, and the wife's money is for her. So perhaps it would be in her best interest if she attempted to adapt to his culture.
But as one stated, he is in America, and that he bears the burden of adapting to our culture. So that being said, since he is no longer employed does she come home from work to a clean house and dinner cooked? Is he doing laundry, shopping, yard work? Because in America we share not only the financial burdens, but work around the house. If one is not working outside of the home they should be doing the work in the home. So if he is not doing these things, then what exactly has he been contributing to the marriage, and in what way is he entitled to anything if he isn't? How long did he work as compared to how long has she worked? Is it right for a man that has worked for only a short time to take from a woman that has worked her entire adult life? Would it be right for her to have to start over?
I am not saying the marriage was fraud, although we all know the statistics. What I am saying is that there are always two sides of the story, and it sounds as if the guy merely wants more than he actually deserves. I do get tired of hearing about human sponges, be it an immigrant or an American, that feel entitled.

In this case why is it that >90% what I see from the middle east here are much older USC females and younger males from middle east? No wonder it is so tough to get visa in Casablanca or Cairo... BTW fraud does know countries.. You barely see any from UK or France or Israel, more from Russia, and vast majority from Middle East.
