I absolutely get not wanting to burn bridges when you leave. You may want to come back someday. At the same time, I would pursue every possible option to avoid burning bridges while still being with my fiancee. It's a hard decision, but one only the couple involved can really make as to what is best for them.

In the USA youll need to get used to being able to be fired for no reason at all with no notice.  This is called "right to work."   Some states have laws that protect workers, and of course there are state and federal laws preventing discrimination but alas many states can hire and fire gleefully for no reason.  And the rest of the world wonders why Americans dont take time off?  Because your boss can kick you to the curb that day without a single reason at all.  Thankfully they are also scared of lawsuits.  Too bad most people cant afford a decent lawyer.

As to the rest? Whatever. I moved heaven and earth to be with the person I love, and would do so again. Yeah, I find it utterly mind-boggling that anyone would choose to stay not to walk away from an employment contract rather than be with the person they love. Additionally, having poked around on the net for a few, it seems those kind of draconian contract provisions are virtually unenforceable in Germany in any case. Therefore, this is an entirely self-inflicted wound.

That's the beauty of a free-market society. We all have the ability to go next door if we don't like the service. That's excluding government run business of course, which is a good reason to limit the size of government.

The inclusion of the black community made in a general statement of equality or equal footing regardless of any class or race is so offensive to you in your world of entitlement and victimization though that you just have to rise up to attack it. The NRA which is the mentioned reference isn't interested in "AA support" anyway. They are interested that the AA community recognizes and if they choose avails themselves of their rights to self defense granted to them as they are granted to everyone else. You need to micro stamp pressure cookers. Register them and outlaw old ones . Charge them with a felony if not turned in. Then you could really get this evil problem under control.

Reminding everyone of a few facts. I had a 1 1/2 year courtship with a woman I loved with all my heart who was cheating on my while pregnant and was engaged in pornography on the 4th day of marriage while 8 months pregnant. That is a FACT. I simply caught her in a scam. I didn't call her names or every hurt her. I gave her 4 1/2 months of motherhood and 6 months of marriage to straighten up...She did not. Divorce served. Yes, I monitored her actions per her family and her agreement. If that is VAWA, well then that just stinks.
I have sole physical but 50/50 legal and the mother drags me through the mud about "her rights." When you come to the USA from a communist country they will use those rights against you. Ask my bank account.

I know that article is meant as satire, but in reality the way they voted on that bill will have little to no effect on their chances for re-election, and they know it. I suspect what the American people want is pretty low on their priority list.

da bombs were in a steel pressure cooker . The pressure cooker would have been a good potentiator. for a pressure explosion. My guess was they used some highly reactive oxidizer like Hydrogen peroxide. . Mixed it with some common household chemicals that I will not go into here. Packed it with nails, ball bearings etc, and used a remote electronic detonator to set it off.
You are right acetone Hydrogen peroxide or similar substances are unstable. However a bottle of OJ would have made no difference.
