    Passed my PA learner's permit test on my first try! Will take the road test a few weeks from now.. On another note, grad school starts in 4 days! Waaah :)

      I just got my name changed in SSN this morning and was surprised about this new law accdg to the SS officer about using middle name. They let me have my maiden name middle name as my middle name instead my maiden name last name, which we usually do in the Phils. It's kinda odd for me using this MY name + My Maiden Name Middle Name + My married last name ..diba usually when one is married it we will use our last name as our middle name? How about yours?     Hey.. did you see a CS? If not that must be what the RFE is for! You just need to have the part 1, 2 (vaccine) and civil surgeon certification part filled out.. :)

    No problem, ask away!! I'm confused about your question, did you mean bring it to the US? You don't need your NBI and Cenomar here, but you must have your passport (of course!) and an original bc would be best, not photocopy :)

      I just read your comment about working here in USA and about ESL. I just got hired from an online ESL company in Beijing, China. I am just worried cuz I don't have my work permit yet and our AOS application is stil on process. Do you think it will be illegal for me to accept the job eventhou it is online? I don't wanna do anything that might affect our AOS application.Thank you very much! and you are so pretty!!! I checked ur wedding website too!!!

      Hello! I have some questions about form I-693 and maybe you help me with. So my wife came filed her AOS on June 25, 2011 and on August 3, 2011 we received an RFE. The RFE says "You submitted Form I-693, Medical Examination and Vaccination Record. However, the civil surgeon certified the exam more that one year before the date the applicant filed the Form I-485. The Form I-693 must be dated within one year of filing Form I-485." this is false because my wife's DS3025 is dated 3...

    yes, look at the website of the philippine consulate nearest to your state and follow the requirements for report of marriage and amendment of passport. puede to use his name :)

    I think 3 BCs would be enough.. You submit 1 for k1, and then for AOS you can just use photocopies but its good to have more than one copy!! :)

    Hey! In my case, I got my NBI and Cenomar in August 2010, and then did my interview in December! So I think it would be okay for you to get it already.. Just don't let it go past 6 months! But assuming you get it on August, I think it would still be good till around Feb and for sure you would have your noa2 and schedule already by then! Also make sure your passport is valid ...

      its easy : you will be fine :) I never drove until I moved to the US and passed it the first time and now driving is second nature to me.

    Awww hope you get it soon!! I really don't remember much about the NVC stage.. We were not in a hurry to do my interview, I actually waited 4 months to schedule so I was not really paying attention to the timing.. My hubby had training from June-December so I waited till he finished before I scheduled anything. :)

    Hey! We were in the NVC stage for about two weeks I guess.. I got approved early July and I received my eligibility letter from the US Embassy on the first week of August 2010. :)

    Married for over 3 months now and with GC in hand!! Ahh Life is good :) I can finally just work on my marriage without any distractions, the AOS process caused so much stress. To those still waiting, be patient, your time will come too!
