Not all gelatin is made of pork, there are many products that contain beef gelatin, etc. If you read my posts correctly, I said my husband will NOT eat any food product that contains gelatin, as it DOSE NOT specify what kind of gelatin it is geeez, I think, I made it very clear in my topic.

It's sort of in between none of the above and the embassy. USCIS will be notified later after the package has been sent to them after POE. NVC no longer has your case and could care less where you live. If you can contact the US embassy and tell them you've moved, see if they can update your case. If not, just bring a new I-864 and DS-230 with you to the interview showing the new address of where you're living. Explain to them why you're giving them new forms (you moved). Use the actual physical address of where you are.

your papers say you are engaged but had a wedding ceremony? So what was it an engagement or a marriage? a paper saying you had a marriage ceremony means married. Your post is confusing. You won;t get past the CO for a K-1 visa if you have a paper saying you had a wedding

Just called NVC. Found out that my file was received by them on 11 Feb (not 14 Feb like the first lady told me).
The Customer Service guy was the MOST pleasant person I have talked to so far.
He said that he can’t see any of my stuff because it’s not input yet and can take between 10 & 20 business days but to keep calling back.
He also said that he hopes my next phone call has the answers I am looking for.
What a wonderful, cheerful phone call.
I’d give that man a raise if I could.

Hi Saylin and the Gang!
Its Friday 7.30am Friday March 1st here in Perth Western Australia and I am checking in. While reading through these threads I was on hold with NVC. I just when I decided to check in NVC answered and I was informed that my case was COMPLETED today. (28th Fed' USA time)
Our AOS and IV Package were sent together and received by NVC 21st Feb (USA time)Guys that 7 days including a weekend - I am NOT bragging, I am hopeful many more cases will be completed very soon. I had wondered if NVC attempt to close as many cases as possible near the end of any given month??
Of course now the waiting game again, as we wait for a Sydney interview....Saylin can you please check your crystal ball and tell me my likely interview month, date, oh and time of day too...

No it's not. It's perfectly legal to enter with intent to marry, it's NOT legal to enter with intent to AOS.

If you can not afford insurance go to your local County Hospital and enroll in their health insurance program if qualified many will assist you on a sliding scale with pre-natal care. For the birth you can get Emergency Medicaid to cover it if you are considered low income and qualify. Even if you do not qualify if she is in labor and shows up at the ER they are required to see her and provide medical care. You will get a huge bill from them but they will take care of her medically.

I am not saying that this is the way to go but if she is already pregnant it is important to seek care and I would rather give you the resources than you having a sick baby because of no prenatal care which would be a bigger burden on tax payers dollars in the long run.

Nope, my family is blessed to have brains and a good work ethic so we don't require help from the government. I think it is fine that people get help when they need it and are desperate, but I think your attitude that the gov should pay for your baby because you "want" it and you are ill-prepared and disorganized is shameful. Babies are expensive, so if you want one, find a way to pay for one.

Amanda first of all don't get upset by the advise you are given here. It is a public forum and you are going to get advise and opinions from many people. The ones you are getting angry with are the ones who have the knowledge and experience to help guide you. If you want to be successful and get your guy here when you are 18 then take notes and try not to be defensive. I hope you will have an open mind because I know you are going to get a lot of opinions because that is the way this forum works. The advise she gave you is right on the money!! Study the process and understand it is long and hard. I know it is frustrating but that is just how it is!
