It looks like your relative is in Agana Guam. So that's what you will put where it says city and country
Or at least that the consulate.
-
There are 2 parts. One of them is if your relative is abroad which embassy will he or she have their interview. The other part which local office if in the US will they apply to?
-
What country
Oh it's India. I just looked at your timeline
Estimate would be March 2016.

Just for the record in reply to Gegel, it is the male petitioner who has decided not to marry, not my wife's aunt.... He gets cold feet and SHE gets deported... not quite fair in my mind.
Unfortunately for her, since she's not the petitioner. Sorry those are the rules for that type of petition. Petitioner changed his mind. I understand you feel bad, but you really can't do anything about it.

If you receive a notice from the IRS that leads you to believe someone may have used your social security number fraudulently, please notify the IRS immediately by responding to the name and number printed on the notice or letter.
They probably sent a questionnaire for you to fill out along with the letter.

It could be a system glitch. She transferred you to a Tier 2. They usually have more info than the obvious customer service rep ( customer service is helpless- they tell you the same info you see on the website). Try calling again. Ask for tier 2. Did you recheck your status again?
-
Or call again and ask for a supervisor first before sending anything.
-
Resend what they're asking for.

As far as I know, each applicant- including children needs their own DS260 $230 per person. Someone clarify if I'm wrong. If you're not sure can do it yourself or worried you might make a mistake, then get an attorney. You would be saving yourself some money if you do it yourself obviously.
Your lawyer is ridiculously expensive
If you're not sure of how to there are links on VJ.

My husband's took up to 9 months until he got his permanent resident card It varies it could take up to a year for the whole process or more. It depends
My husband'a was also at Vermont Service Center

Maybe if you call their direct number: they will help transfer you to the right department.
Here's the number. 202-282-8000
Doesn't hurt to try

You should probably speak to a supervisor when you call.

Pictures of you together on vacation and/or with family and friends. It's best to include a range of times, not just a bunch of photos from a short period of time
-
What about phone records, or chat logs? Pictures together
-
No emails until you get a case number from them. You have to constantly dial. I know it's hectic, but that's what you'd have to do.
-
What about on a marriage certificate. She can keep her last name (maiden name ) and include spouses last name. For example jane doe. Jane doe mitchell
-
document supporting a name change must be recent and identify you by both your old and new names
-
The marriage license should have stated the new name. That way it would be easy to change it on social security card
-
To change the information on your Social Security number record (i.e., a name or citizenship change, or corrected date of birth) you must provide documents to prove your identity, support the requested change, and establish the reason for the change. For example, you may provide a birth certificate to show your correct date of birth. A document supporting a name change must be recent and identify you by both your old and new names. If the name change event occurred over two years ago or if the name change document does not have enough information to prove your identity, you must also provide documents to prove your identity in your prior name and/or in some cases your new legal name. If you were born outside the U.S. you must provide a document to prove your U.S. citizenship or current lawful, work-authorized status.
This info was stated on the social security card application on ssa.gov website

Where did she do the name change, on what legal documents? Is it the marriage certificate?
-
Also do you have G-325A forms filled out and signed by both you and your spouse. One for you and one for your spouse. Also I'm not sure if the affidavit of support I-864 should be amongst the documents filed. I'm not sure if someone can let us know. Usually when USCIS rejects a package it's signatures ,passport style photos ,check is made out in the right amount and payable to U.S Department of Homeland Security or missing forms or skipped questions.

Question 19 is in regards to the address abroad. Since she is here that's n/a. Question 22 doesn't ask for her city and state, it asks the city and state of the office she wants to apply adjustment of status.
