    hi
    you filed wrong
to add your income to combine yours with your husbands, you are the one to file the i864A not his father's
since the two of you don't make enough, you shouldn't have sent any of your income since it's not necessary
he files the i864 as sponsor and his father files another i864 as joint sponsor
if his income isn't enough, then his father files the i864 and his wife files the i864A as his father's household member
to add your income on your husband's i864 you needed to file the i864A as well as his household member or don't use your income at all since it wasn't enough anyway

    hi
    there is no form i551
that's the stamp in your passport that's for 1 year until you get your GC
you paid for the GC, until not too long ago the card was for free for those going through consular processing, but now they charge you to get the physical GC
once you enter the US, the i551 stamp will be useful for travel and work until you get the card, if you don't pay, no card
did you get some sort of confirmation of payment and print it out?

    hi
he fills out the i864 as sponsor, if the other person is a joint sponsor, they sign their own i864 as joint sponsor
if the person is spouse or direct family member living in the same household, the person fills out the i864A
who would be the joint sponsor?

    hi
until after April 15, the most recent tax is 2012, not 2013, so as long as both of you have 2012, you'll be fine

    hi
no, the work permit is in the AOS packet that you send once you have married. the EAD work permit is given to work and study in the US while he or she waits for the interview

    hi
please don't give incorrect information, that's only to extend your stay while your i94 is valid, if you entered the country with a tourist visa, and they gave you 6 months of stay, you can only extend your stay for another 6 months if justified
he has been here illegally for many years

    hi
how long have you been out of the US. a LPR has to live in the US or the person will lose the GC. residency is to reside, live and work in the US, if you have been out of the US for more than 1 year, you have abandoned your GC
you cannot file for your family if you're not a LPR

    hi
no, the petitioner is the sponsor, so the petitioner will file an i864 as sponsor and the joint sponsor will file another i864 as the only joint sponsor

    hi
so he is single and has no dependents?
if so he would put a 1 on point 1, enter the number you entered on line 7 part 3, that would be the person he is co sponsoring, meaning your wife
there is already a 1 for yourself, and then total 2 on point 8

no, unless she is the one being your co sponsor. unless you are going to combine your income with hers then no
if you have a different joint sponsor then she doesn't need to fill out anything

he won't be able to come now, and she doesn't want to come, then help them by sending money and try to visit them. you go to them, it will be and uphill and very stressful battle for them, and not good for your mother's health

aleful got a reaction from baji in i130 for unmarried and married children of us citizen
    hi
as said, did they marry before you became a USC, if so, the petition has been voided and as said you will have to start over and file for them again, they cannot marry until you become a USC. LPR cannot file for married children, they must remain unmarried until they get the GC or until the parent becomes a USC
if they married after then there is no problem
at what stage are the petitions at? Is the i130 still being processed? was the i130 already approved and at the NVC stage?

    hi
what underage child, does she have other minor children? don't count your sister that will turn 21. she's not the one who has to show hardship, it's the USC or her USC children who have to show extreme hardship if their mom was deported.

aleful got a reaction from Hypnos in Hardship letter
    hi
no, you don't file a hardship letter with the affidavit of support. the hardship letter is when someone has a ban, and needs to file a waiver because the person has been denied residency due to a ban and then needs to file a waiver, and the spouse file the hardship letter to overcome the ban
if you don't make enough to petition for your spouse then you need assets or a joint sponsor that will be responsible for her. the sponsor and joint sponsor file the same proof and that person needs to meet the requirements
when you sent the i864 you also had to send the i864 for joint sponsor plus his supporting documents

no, the removal is before the card expires, not in 4 months. the person will get a 2 year GC, and the removal of conditions is 90 days before the card expires
to get the 10 year GC.

    hi
the fee is only $680 biometrics included and it's a lot less than the whole GC process
plus it's optional, it's a decision that not everyone makes, you can be a GC holder for the rest of your life if you want to

I was petitioned by my USC mom so I had to wait 5 years of residency to apply for citizenship. I would have liked for my ceremony to be longer, the opposite of you
I had heard of some places that take 2 or more hours long, but it also depends if there are a lot of people taking the oath at the same time, like hundreds

the K3 process is practically obsolete, so just continue with the i130 consular processing route
