There is so much wrong, including the whole VAWA system is rife with abuse. Write a book on this. Still think it is unlikely she ever had anything other than EAD, and what about the children?

Voluntary Departure, difficult to comment as there is so much unknown. As I mentioned he needs a Deportation Lawyer now. Wonder why the younger Brother was not detained. Anyway it is what it is.

How would they enter? I assume they entered as Visitors probably VWP, Journos seem confused in this area. Would not surprise me if there is not an overstay in there.

I lost where I saw it anyway Democratic Socialists had there annual bash, I remember them from a prior year, Point of Personal Privilege etc. Still not sure why they do not stand under their own Party but this must be a Republican wet dream. Chicago on steroids.

When I have seen it go wrong it seems to be at the PoE, I would certainly mention it in passing at both Consulate and PoE.

Just got a text the Jim is on at 4pm MT, wonder if this will get a mention, not sure I can make it. I do remember it being mentioned that Canadians often seem to think they get a pass, maybe Kiwis do as well.

In my mind the logical action would have been to refuser had admission and send her back to Canada, however this seems not possible where the person is not Canadian. Similar ish to the Canadian Lady who sought entry from Mexico on an a TN.

Who knows, maybe they are referencing whatever visa she entered with? Travel Document, what does that mean, current ESTA, Passport? Also begs the question if a child could be released to AN other, would not Child Protection Service have to be involved? Wonder where the Father is in this.
