  1. "I started to worry because I saw a few June filers with my NoA1 date and later being approved. I thought for sure I was going to receive an RFE. My hopes and prayers are that all of us will have great success!"

My hopes for you are the same... Best of luck and OH! I see your name is in lights today! Awesome! Good luck!

  2. Hello fellow June filers. Janna and I have received our NoA2 today!!!! No touches or anything, just checked my e-mail a few minutes ago and there it was. Wishing everyone else a speedy journey.

Yes!! I love this part of waiting!! lololol Congrats to you both! :star:

This is the worst part in my opinion... its like watching a pie cool down after it just came out of the oven... but worst because you know that other people are eating the pie already.... they are up to the 18th!

Ah true Scott, but you know that pie is fantastic!!! :D now if they are on the 18th, they skipped me and need to go look again.. lol

  3. We just checked our case status on the USCIS website and it shows we got approved yesterday!!!!

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On September 14, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Our I-129F was approved in only 94 days thank God!!!:dance::dance:

OMGosh!! Congrats Aya and John!!! We gotta be this week... We just gotta!!! lol I'm so happyyyyy for you guys!!!! Best of luck on the rest of your Journey!!:dance:

  4. If I had to guess I would say either Megan or Kim will be the next of the group to get the approval email... we are not too far behind them... most of us should be approved this month... I really thing we will see them into July before the end of the month....

Everyone keep checking for that touch...

"Touch" shows up on USCIS right? I never got one on my NOA1

  5. yay, it was 218 earlier, now its 155!!!!

OMG!!! It was like 160 something and nowit's 98!!!!! Let's all hope for approvals in the next couple of weeks. The VJ Igor's list didn't move very much though. I wish people would update their timelines! Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

    Kim

Go Kim n Mark!! we were 184 this morning and 116 tonight! Insane crazy I can't wait....

  6. Hey Everyone!!!

To make a very long story short, I live in New York and my fiance lives in Ukraine. Weve been together for a long time and have finally decided to start this journey for him to come here. One of my aquintances told me about this site, and allthough its great, I must say Im a little overwhelmed by all the info thats provided here. I would love it (and appreciate it very much) if someone could just please tell me how do i start this whole process... Ive been doing research on this and Im just confused as to what goes into the intial package that I have to mail out. Also where do I mail all the documents to? and can i send the letter as certified mail and return receipt just for my records to know that they have recieved everything. Thanks in advance to those who reply. Your help means a lot =)

Very best of luck on your Journey!

  7. Ok June VSC filers... take this number and run it through your calculators... 105 ...

Now you are asking what the heck is 105.. right?

Thats the approx number of days (give or take a few days) some May filers have waited and are getting NOA2's...

now add 105 days to your NOA1 here and imagine what your NOA2 could be at the current pace... or sooner! For one June couple here (C&M).. that would put you somewhere around Sept 17th! two weeks away!

    TWO WEEKS? OMG!!!!

    :dancing:

My Berkeley # has dropped over 160 in the past month alone! We should see another 100+ drop in the next two weeks... if they keep up at this pace and post the new Processing dates...

We could see more than 50 VSC approvals for this week alone! Great job getting back on track VSC!!!!! :dancing:

woo hoo!! go Juners!! I'm maybe NOA2 bound before 10-1!! holy cow batman!! :D I'm readyyyyyy bring it on!! lol

  8. Just saying hi as I haven't been here in a long time and nothing has moved with our case.

Hopefully things will start moving soon

Hopefully things at VSC will continue to move along quickly. I hope that Mark will have his interview and medical in London by January so we can get married in March. I have heard that the NVC puts London people in AP alot as not to overwhelm the embassy with too many applicants at once. I hope this is not true. I know we are all fairly early in our journeys but OMG the waiting is soooo NOT fun! I just came back from England where I met my new family to be. Mark was going to try to come over for Christmas but I think we are going to move that up to mid November in case he will be inerviewing in London around the holidays (fingers crossed). Plus the flight are much cheaper in November than around the Christmas holidays. Hope everyone here is hanging in there. I am so thankful to everyone for their support. I could not bear the waiting without all of you!

    Kimberly

I can't wait to go to Europe! I'm saving my trip for the honeymooon :D !! I spoke to my congressman a few weeks after I filed, and I've been advised that we (USA and London) tend to move a lot quicker than most Visa's because of the non-threatening political relationship we have with their country. I hope for everyone their trips down Visa-land are quick and painless. Knowing we are so close to having our loved ones with us is a test of our will to be together. God speed to all waiting.

  9. Welcome to the group

ScottThuy, Can you tell me where do you see that your Visa applciation has been "touched". I'm having trouble locating this transaction.. Thanks!

Log into your USCIS account here to see if the last updated date changed...

if you have not registered yet you can use your Case # from your NOA1 here.. note the date of last update if you have not been there before...

Ah... i see.. I am registered and just looked. I have no updates since the NOA-1.. so I guess it's not been touched :) I presume I will be email notified if it is "touched". Thanks for the response. Good Luck!

No emails about touches unless they are due to an RFE or NOA2 and then the status message changes.. just watch the date.. it should change when they start working on the file..

Gotcha! ;) Thanks again! (Your information and support is beyond words)

  11. USCIS has updated the processing times https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do couple of days back and I just noticed VSC has a goal of approving I-129's in 5 months whereas it showed Dec 2008 last month. If their goal is 5 months for all the applications, i would guess all the June Filers would have their approvals by Nov and atleast half of us would get it in Sep & Oct. So I think Christmas is a real possibility for all of us.

Yes! That's what I'M TALKIN about!! lol Thanks for the update RKSV I like the way you think!

I wish that were so but they are working on mid to late March applications now. June applications are 2+ months away, it is now mid August. I do not think we will see approvals for many June filers till late Oct, early Nov.

3 Aprils approved so far today... almost at my prediction of 40 for last week... he he he... we may see October approvals for us...

    We'll take it!! :)

  13. Wendy, Scott, others

How do you compute your Igor's List? I am 428 on the list, Wendy-you seem to be in the 390's but you list 299. Could you shed some light on how you arrive at the number. Thanks in advance.

    You are 336 on Berkeley

Thanks, always thought the Igor list was a bit outdated because it list hundreds of folks that have not posted in months; I would guess most of the very old NOA1 have either been canceled or approved.

I guess Scott has a better way of doing things, I went from a link someone had on their timeline and it showed me as #299.. not 399.. I started out as 600 something when I filed, so I consider this an accomplishment. I don't think there's any 100% way of course to know how long it will be, just another way of looking at hope. Bless you and good Luck in your Journey. And now I'm 298 on Berkley, so if it's more accurate, I'm ok with that too :)
