Hoping for a touch before Christmas! Next week it's been 2 months since my last touch. Come on CSC!!!!!
-
Hi All, Interview went well. It was reall funny but the guy was good and he did a great job.
Aos is approved today and card has been ordered.
Thank you so much VJ.
That's great news!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much to all of you who prayed for us...Interview was a breeze, even though we had to wait 2 hours to be interviewed...
Good luck to all!
Congrats! Great news!!!
-
I think that's the hardest part - to not have any touches! I really hope you will get approved soon!!! I feel the same way as you - I would rather have had an interview scheduled than wait at CSC without any touches since October. If you have an interview date at least you know that date and you can wait for that. I really hope you get a touch today and they look at your new biometrics!!!
-
Tomorrow is our interview, please pray for us
I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight, too much excitement on the air.
God bless all and I hope that when I log in here tomorrow again, some of you waiting for touches or interviews receive them!
Later!
Good luck tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys sorry i haven't been there lately it has been a tuff , i mean one of my fury babies got lost and OMG i was depressed and all day looking for him , GOd gave him back to us so now it's here thankfully but anyways about anu updates NOTHING NOTHING NO interview appoitment , no touches , no notification of transfer nothing .
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I know the feeling...... I at least know I have been transferred to CSC... But that was 72 days ago... And average among Sep filers between transfer and AOS approval is 47 days... Haven't had any touches since Oct. You can try calling USCIS. I did but unfortunately didn't help. They just told me to continue waiting... Hoping we both hear something soon! The worst is the waiting and no touches...

You're in New York and I'm in Connecticut. Maybe it's the same person taking the NY and CT cases and that person is a bit unorganized or slower than others??
It's possible. I feel like im the only one left now for the month of July though. So frustrating! After I did my 2nd bio last tues, I haven't hear anything from them again.
My Ead and parole was also approved last September and October. Now, Just waiting for the GC.
I am still hoping that we will have good news soon.
Did you have a touch after your second biometrics? Hopefully CSC will want to get as much done as possible before Christmas and we'll get a nice Christmas present from them next week

Thank you We Got 2

JimandChristy - THANK YOU so much for keeping the spreadsheet so updated. It is really appreciated!!! Not only by us September filers but I am sure filers from other months also check these processing times!!!
Good luck with the job search!!!!
-
Congrats Rutherford!!
Good luck with the medical on Monday, Martin!
No news from me unfortunately. Still no touch since October. 87 days since NOA and counting...
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Really strange and frustrating USCIS is approving October filers when there's still July filers waiting!!!

I didn't change my address or do any changes. I applied, got NOA (9/15), and then transfer to CSC on 10/2. I was supposed to have my biometrics on 10/15 but we were on our late honeymoon then and I asked for a new date and got 10/24. I did the biometrics on a Saturday and on the Monday, my EAD was approved (my AP had been approved the week before). MY AOS was touched on 10/26 and 10/27 (right after biometrics) and since then nothing. No touch, no RFE, nothing.

Hi everyone! Is there anyone here that's been transferred to CSC and is still waiting?
I am a September filer - AOS sent on Sep 9. Everyone in the Sep forum (except me!) has been either approved or is waiting for an interview. Several October filers are receiving their approvals. My case has however not been touched since October. I have had no RFEs.
I called USCIS and they told me to wait until June / July next year and if I haven't received the GC by then, to call them to receive a new EAD and AP. I said the processing time on their website is 4 months and she answered that is VERY unusual....
Has anyone here been in the same situation? Have you contacted USCIS? Is there anything one can do except for waiting??
-
Hi everyone! Is there still anyone who's been transferred to CSC waiting? I am a September filer - sent on Sep 9 - that is still waiting. Have had no touches since October. No RFEs. I've called USCIS and they told me to wait until June/July next year and then come back if I still haven't received GC so they can give me a new EAD and AP!!!!! I said the processing time on the website is 4 months but they told me that is VERY unusual.... But everyone in the Sep filers forum now either has their GC or a nearby interview date...except for me! And no touch since Oct making me feel like they have forgotten me!
Has anyone from this forum been in the same situation?
-
Well, I called USCIS.... This is what they said:
Come back in June/July next year if you still have not received the green card
Even though it says processing time is 4 months on website, it is VERY unusual that I485 gets approved after 4 months and it usually takes a lot longer
So I am no wiser after call. Just decided not to call them again and not to check USCIS website for updates because it only gets me frustrated.
-
Freyja I really hope that when you check your mail this week your card will just be there. Sometimes there are no touches.
Just saying this so Jim and Christie and update the spreadsheet. Card arrived today. I feel bad because others aren't getting anywhere and then others are done.
Thank you. I hope so too
I am frustrated that USCIS haven't looked at my case since Oct but that doesn't mean I am not happy for all of you that have gotten your approvals! Congrats on receiving the GC today!!!! It is worth celebrating!!!!!!!!!!

Today it's exactly 3 months since we sent the papers... Hoping for at least a touch!!!
Have a great day everyone!
Hi Freyja, Did you really call USCIS? what was the response?
No, haven't contacted them. It says on the website that they can't look into cases that are within normal processing times and the current processing time for AOS at CSC is 4 months. So if nothing happens within the next month, I will call them / try to schedule infopass. I don't know what else to do. But I really, really do hope that I'll at least get a touch in December!!! (still no touch since October) Looking at the October AOS filers forum, there's quite a few of them that already have received their green card approvals...
Hopefully you will have a touch this month, I am praying for you. When I thought I was lagging behind, I called the USCIS and I was luckily transferred to a supervisor in Chicago and 4 days later I received a notice that they have requested expedited service for me and I received interview letter 2 days later.
Let hope and see
Really? You called them? So maybe I should too. Did you call your local office? What did you say? I was afraid they'd just say your case is within the normal processing time and wouldn't talk to me. You have given me hope!!!!!!!!!!! I want to call them. Did you just say you haven't heard anything in a while or what did you say? For me, it has been 3 months since sending the case, 10 weeks since it was transfered to CSC and almost 7 weeks since it was last touched.

HI, I have a question about the police certificate and it would be great to hear some advice.
so heres the problem..
I've been to spain for about a year all together but in shorter periods of time around 3 months at a time. I never offically moved my address to spain but i did work there, i had a bank account, paid taxes... in finland the goverment couldn't find any records of me ever being in spain cause my address was in finland for all that time.
so do I need to get a police certificate from spain in this case? I already got one from finland and the netherlands and i'm assuming if i get one from spain that it would take them forever to send me one! mañana mañana ...
I don't think you do. I think you only have to if you have lived in another country for 6 or more consecutive months. And I guess only if you were unregistered from Finland. Best thing would probably be to check with the US embassy though and see what they really need for the interview. My guess is however that you won't need it.

84 days after NOA today. So frustrating. Still no touch since Oct. I think they just forgot about us.
Ah Freyja, I feel your pain, we went through the same thing when doing the K-1...everyone else was getting approvals after 60 days and we were nearly 2 months behind for no apparent reason
I really hope they have some good news for you soon--what a wonderful Christmas gift that would be for you guys! I have you, along with everyone else still waiting, in my thoughts and prayers for a quick response. Would love to see our thread be finished up by the end of December!!
Good luck to those still waiting and congrats to the handful recently approved!
Charmarie
Thank you
I'm so happy for everyone that has gotten their approvals but every day I get my hopes up and nothing...no email, no touch... But hopefully it's a matter of a few more days or weeks. Hopefully not months!

Congrats Monkeyjuice and cutedolphinn!!!!

Today my hubby and I have been married exactly 4 months. Maybe this will be the day USCIS will give us an approval, or at least a touch! Tomorrow is 3 months from when we sent the application.

Guys, where you able to open joint accounts without any problems? My husband tried to open one for us but now I got a letter saying there's something wrong with my social security number?? I called them but they didn't give me any info. So we are going to the bank together on Saturday. So weird. Could this be because I am not a permanent resident?? But we should be able to get a joint bank account even though I am still not a permanent resident right?
