  1. I am filling out the DS-230 and wondering if anyone has ran into questions, such as Q22: "In what Occupation do you intend to work in the States" Should I leave it BLANK? Or should I say what's really on my mind? People say that since we are applying for FIANCE visa, we should not state that we WILL BE WORKING or whatsoever at this stage. Is it true? Anyone who has gone through the interview can give any advice? Anything? Thanks!

  2. one quick question guys!! my boyfriend just received packet 3..is the check list all he has to send back to the embassy together with the biography?? the affidavit of support not right?

Hello. I also don't know anything about biography.I know we sent one with the initial petition but i don't think you need it for the interview. My packet 3 was a list with instructions what to do and the actual forms i need to fill in, even the medical documents. I also had to obtain a cerificate for marital status but as far as i know this might be just here. I didn't have to send anything. just bring the documents with me for the interview. If you have any questions you better call the consulate. They have been very helpfull to me.

    Good luck

    pls :time:

    Thanks ;)

  3. Hey everyone. Although this is my first post here, I've been reading for a few months now. I just wanted to report that I got my NOA2 on 4/4/09. The funny thing was I was at work and I get a call from my baby and I hear her crying...I thought something had happened or someone died. heh...well, something DID happen. I was so happy when I got the news :D The long wait is finally over, but I kno I'm not out of the water yet. Itjust puts us that much closer to finally being with each other :D Hang in there to those who haven't got their NOA2 yet. It's on its way....

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE REST OF THE JOURNEY :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Jenn and Nick, Mike and Miche, juleali and all of the November filers still waiting stay strong. NOA2 is coming. Keep the good faith, think positive and everything will be ok.

Keeping fingers crossed for all of you.

    Good luck

  4. Congratulations to everyone who is moving forward with the journey.:thumbs::thumbs: It feels so good to finally get the countdown. We got everything ready for our packet 3. Fortunately our consulate don't requre sending it out. I just have to take everything with me on the interview. I still have to schedule the medical but I will probably do it in the same week with the interview. We are still debating if we should get the plane ticket in advance but knowing how many people have troubles with their visas its better just to wait at least after the interview. Hopefully everything will be ok and May sounds like a great month for a wedding :)

    Good luck to everyone.

  5. Hello November family. Just an update. Just called NVC and our petition was send to Sofia on 3/30. Stayed there just for the weekend :)) Can't wait for packet 3 now. I am ready with everything just waiting for the Affidavid of Support which will be here in a couple of days. Hopefully will get an interview date in the end of the month. YAYYYYY.

    sooooooooooooooo happy right now. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

PS the call was pretty quick. Was on hold for a few minutes but it was all done in 5 min. Was so happy when she said it was forwarded and forgot to ask for our case number :)

  6. Hello together-forever. You need to check with your embassy about that. I think everywhere is different. Here i don't even have to send out packet 3. whenever i am ready with the documents i just call them to make an appointment for the interview. (before the medical). I think it would take at least a month to schedule an interview date so i would say that it shouldn't be a problem if someone else send packet 3 so you can get the paperwork going on but hey this is just an opinion.

Good luck and have fun with your fiancee.

  7. Hey ,

can anyone help me about the paper size for the forms, can i use A4 paper size , or does it has to b American standard paper size i-e 8.5''x11''..

best wishes to all....good to see soo many people getting approved n gettng their visas...

Don't know if this is any help but I have had 4 visa interviews with american embassy. Always used standart A4 for any kind of printed documents. Never got any problems.
