    i just got a letter from NVC saying that my petition will be forwarded within a week to the embassy in poland..hmm i thought it usually takes longer..i really gotta rush now with everything.. does anyone know what i should send my fiancee now? i guess the afidavid of support and is there anything else? hmm im kinda lost now and everything is moving so fast :)

    Hello there. My fiancee is going to send me

    - Affidavid of Support

    - Tax transcripts, W2s, resent pay stubs, employer letter

    - Engagement ring receipt

    - Letter of intent-

    - His boarding passes from the last trip to Bulgaria

    - Confirmation e-mail for all the plane tickets he bought

    - Booking confirmations from hotels, concerts etc that we went together + photos

    - Copies of the pages in his passport

    Thats about it. Hope it helps.

    I am happy to say we entered and lost the race in one day! We got our approval email this morning!!!! :dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance::thumbs::dance:

    I just told Sio To over the phone and she immediately started shouting to her sisters in Cantonese, it is such a huge relief! I had convinced myself there was a problem with the app or something.

    Now I am off to start reading up on what to do next, I had stop researching during the wait, and suddenly feel unprepared for the next step!! I hope the rest of our November folks are also getting approved this week. And thanks to everyone for the positive vibes the past couple weeks, it really has kept me up as I was getting very low over this.

    Congratulations. It feels great, doesn't it? I think joining the race helped a little bit. :) Don't worry you have some time till your case get to the consulate so you have enogh time to prepare. Everything will be ok now. :)

    Jenn and Nick please don't worry. I have the feeling you will be next and very very soon you will get your approval. Kevin's race brought us luck and i'm sure the magic will work for you too. :thumbs:

    I originally thought I would just hide this news in a few posts (as I get a bit shy), but I'm posting it because reading other CSC Jan/Feb. '09 approvals helped me track how fast the CSC was going through newly filed petitions (in the meantime trying not to get my hopes up, LOL - John and I thought it could just be pure luck), and I'm thinking others might be doing the same.

    So add another NOA-2 to the list for CSC! We got our NOA-2 one month to the day we got the NOA-1, and received the hard copy in the mail tonight - and btw, no email notification or change in status online.

    GO CSC!! I always like seeing all the happy posts on VJ ... and now here's mine *blushes* :)

    Hey guys! Just want to do a quick update on my case status, amazingly i'm still in SHOCK** that.... while my finance is visiting me this week...I received the NOA 2 approval notice in the mail. Although on the website our case status has not yet been updated, but I received the I-797 notice of action # 2..... in just 31 days from receiving NOA1. Its almost like miracle happened. But I did notice that recently we have many individuals receiving their NOA 2 much sooner than anticipated. I wonder why!

    Anyhow, I have finished preparing the I34 form for my finance.... As for now, what should I be doing ? Will my finance be receiving a packet with the information that he need for the next step?

    Other than the I134, I am not sure if there is anything else I should be doing immediately?

    Please advise~ and I'm really excited that I am able to share this great news with all of you on Visa Journey!

    Other than the affidavid of support you can see if your fiancee can optain the police certificate, evidence for your relationship, fill out the forms from packet 3 (download those from the embassy website). and most of all relax... the ball is now in your hands :)

    Just curious on what number were you guys n Igor's list when you received your NOA2? Just curious! heheh! something i just wanna find out hahaha I needed something more than just the said adjudication date (which moved from June 2 to June 6 again! :crying: Guess am just looking foa a ray of hope, We are on 298! yeeeaah! Below 300!!! hahaha!

    Hello there. We were #160 on the new Igors list when we got approved. Sorry forget to check on the other one but I think it was like #60. Don't worry about the estimated date. It will change a copule of times. When we started ours was the last week of May-beginning of June. So hang in there. Try not to get obsessed with constantly checking your status or e-mail. When the time comes you will know. :) Good luck and don't worry you will get approved sooner than you think.

    Bad news everyone. I'm out of the race. I got two emails, one this morning (last night, China time) that said my petition was transfered (to where?) and a few hours later, another that said it was approved. I was asleep, so I just got them a few minutes ago. Good luck to those of you still in the race.

    Hello everyone. Thank you so much for the congratulations. Yes I am going to start gather the nesessary documents for the interview but I am really not worried about it. Our version of the police certificat is actually a document from the court and signed by judge that I haven't been arrested nor i have any criminal activities or investigations going on my name. It only takes a few days for it to be issued and then another day for the translation so it will be very fast. I am going to wait for the NVC to confirm that our case has been forwarded to the embassy and I will do all that. The evidence are pretty much ready so there isn't too many things to do now other than waitng (again). Our embassy is not very busy so for what i've read i might schedule an interview as soon as i get packet 3. (yay) I can't even do the medical because they want to schedule the interview first so the medical can be in the last days before the interview.

    If everything goes ok we are going to try the wedding to be somewhere in May so we can file for AOS/EAD/AP right after that. I kinda need the AP because my sister wedding is planned for September and I am the maid of honor. :) For what i've heard AP can take up to 3 months so we don't want to risk it.

    I do have some questions about the documents needed to get married. I do have my birth cerificat translated and with apostile on it. Should I leave the original translation or I can just give them a copy. I am concerned because to obtain apostile is very expensive and long process and i was wondering if i should make a couple more just in case.

    Good luck for all of you still waiting. Believe me I know how nervous you are but hang in there. It will happen.

    Thank you. :) Yes it does. I am still so excited. I am kinda confused with whats next. :) I mean I read all the guides and so on but it seems pointless untill we get a word from the NVC. There are so many people stuck there so its better to wait with issuing the documents. :) It seems like Bulgarian embassy its not very busy so pretty much as soon as I receive packet 3 I can set an interview date :) But lets not get so far ahead. We still have another opsatcle on the way called the NVC. Keeping fingers crossed.

    I can't believe that there is a chance of May wedding :))))))))

    OMG OMG OMG. WE ARE APRPOVED. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    I just received e-mail from CRIS that today 3/25 they sent the aproval. The status in USCIS is updated too. I am soooooooooooooooooo HAPPY. I cried, laughed, jumped. It is such a great feeling. I can't believe its finaly happening. I was just txting with Erik and the new e-mail poped up. I called him and we both cried and laughed. OMG.

    Thank you all for the support. You were amazing. Good luck to everyone still waiting. Kevin&Leilei, Jen&Nick and all the others I KNOW you are next. Maybe even today.

    just got the mail notice i got NOA2 yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! :D can anyone tell me how to update the timeline couse ive been trying and i cant seem to find how :/ ugh

    To update your timeline go to Imigration timelines and then on the left side there is a control saying "edit/add my timeline". You need to enter your e-mail and then you can update it :)

    Hi all, congrats to everyone who got their NOA2's!

    Question, what about the next step? We got approved 2/27 and i received the hard copy 3/5, but since then .... silence. i called the NVC and they say they have not received our case to even forward to the foreign consulate yet, that it normally takes 2-4 weeks after approval (which does not match what i'm seeing on people's timelines) and there's nothing they can do since they havent received it yet, then i called the VSC and they said the last status they have on our case is the 2/27 "approved" and cannot say where it is now or when it will be sent to the NVC... who can i get info from, or is there really nothing to do except sit tight and wait? I thought we were ahead of schedule there but now it seems like we're right back in nowhere-land. Can anyone advise?

    I am sorry to hear it takes so long guys. Don't really know what you should do but you may start a new thread here. There are a lot of people who might offer advice. It really shouldn't take so long. Hope everything will get better soon.

    Ellie and David congrats to your NOA2! Looks like that did work out great for you, being with your sweetheart and receiving big news! I´m happy for you! Well we received our RFE last monday and it was really just about question nr. 2 part C, we got it done and sent it right back in! On sunday Michael is coming to see me for a week, he is off from college and right in time uscis had a nice surprise for us:

    Same here. Its kinda stressfull to see that nobody is getting approved. As long as VSC keep them coming we still have hope but they seem to be slowing down and that's not good. Lets hope next week will be better for all of us still waiting. :thumbs:
