  1. Hello everybody. I am not sure where to post my question so I am sorry if its in the wrong forum. I am still in process for K1 visa, haven't reseived my NOA2 yet and I am really worried about something. My sister just told me that she is getting married in September and I am not sure if I will get my advance parole by that time. I am hoping to be in US by June at latest and the stats here in VJ say that AP takes up to 2.5 months. We will be cutting pretty close on timing for buying plane tickets and so on. My question is what will happen if i leave the country while i don't have my AP yet. Is it possible to leave US,attend to my sister's wedding and wait in my home country untill my husband gets the AP so he can send it to me by mail . I know it's probably stupid to worry about something that far in the future but I have no intention of missing her wedding. Is there a way to expedite AP?

Thank you in advance for all the answers and GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN YOUR JOURNEY

  2. Yes we did have some problems but he bought new headset (more expensive one) and everything got perfect. We use to have a lot of background noise but as i said now everything is good. For a while i was thinking that skype has some limits for conversations because the calls kept dropping and we do talk for hours every day but now everything is fine. oh and Good luck to everybody with the journey and especially to everybody from Bulgaria

    :))))

  3. Hello Jessi and Iva. As far as i know you can't do both K1 and DCF. So you have to choose either to start with the k1 process and wait with her in Bulgaria or live here (am in bg) for 6 months, get married and apply for k3 in the us embassy in Sofia. I don't know which one is better. we decided to go with K1 but that's completely up to you. And yes I think you will need a lawyer even for an advice. If you want and do your homework well you will be able to go trough without him but i see you are confused which path to take so my advice is see a lawyer and just listen to what he has to say.

Good luck on your journey and have a lot of patience. You'll need it.

sorry for misspelling your name Jesse

  4. I don't know about easier processing for EU citizens but I don't understand what do they mean by easy cases. Some couple know eachother for years, have plenty of documents, photos, etc to prove their relationship and they are still on the back of the line, waiting 6+ months. How to they define who is an easy case and who is not? But anyway I guess asking all those questions won't help us getting approved any faster so we better gather all the patience we have and wait for them to make a move. Good luck to all of you and specially to my coutry mates from Bulgaria. I really wish all of you get approved as soon as possible so they can get to us (November filling) :D A bit selfish but hey we are all impatient
