  1. Thank you :)

Congratulations for the good news. Both my AP and EAD had a mailing date the same date as the e-mail saying Approval notice sent. :) They are on they way to you. For some reason it took longer for the AP to get in the mail than the EAD. I got them in the same day even though the AP was sent sooner.

I have and issue that you guys can hopefully solve. What happens with the EAD after you have the GC. I mean with the actual card. I know its obsolete but do you have to return it or destroy it? After all its a document and I am not sure what to do.

    Thank you

  2. Hello everyone. I got my medical done in Greenberg. They were very professional, kind and polite. It was a little strange to find it but on the boulevard (Al. Malinov) there is a huge sign with an arrow pointing at the right direction. There was construction going on around so it was a little hidden :) My attorney told me to make sure i have a copy of my medical record (with the vaccines) for future reference and I didn't even had to ask. They knew the procedure pretty well.

Without trying to give any bad feedback I know a girl who did her medical in Vita and they didn't give her a copy of that vaccination record and we need it for the AOS process. So just make sure you ask for it.

If any of you who are going trough the process have any questions I will be happy to help.

    Good luck :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

  3. I got an e-mail today from CRIS.

    GC production ordered :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

    Current Status: Card production ordered.

I am sooooooo happy right now.

DavChels would you please add me to your June Spreadsheet

Good luck everyone. Think positive and results will come soon

  4. Congratulations everyone on your NOA2's, interview approvals, US entries and marriages. Haven't been here for a while. I am glad everyone is doing ok and on their way to happily ever after.

With us everything is great. You can see from our timeline that I was approved for EAD/AP and now starting to look for a job (finally). Being at home not being able to work for a while caused some depression (on my side) but got trough it and now I am back on the track. If any of you guys have any questions with the AOS I would be more than happy to help.

Good luck everyone and enjoy your SO. we have waited so long :)

  5. Congratulations again. Just FYI you can schedule an interview as soon as you receive the package.(from the consulate). The appointment take place on the phone.I was ready with all the rest of the documents: Birth certificate, Court certificate, Certificate that you are not married (the beneficiary) all translated and of course all the paperwork from my fiancee. The consulate will send you all the forms you need to fill out (they don't have them in the website). You don't need to send anything to them. Just bring everything you got on the interview. They can be busy so try to schedule the interview ASAP. Mine took about 3-4 weeks. I scheduled my medical the day before the interview and everything was fine.

    Good luck

  6. Hello everyone. Thank you for the congratulations and wish a good luck to all of you still waiting. Stay positive. It won't be long. Yesterday I had a feeling all day something was happening because i was checking my e-mail every 20min. The last time there they were. Two e-mails ;)))

I have a question. I see that some of you are applying for a replacement for the SSC. I thought the replacemnt should take place when the green card is issued in order to remove the restrictions from the SSC. I have my SSC for 4 years and I haven't changed my name so I don't think I need to replace my card yet, right???

  7. Hello everyone. I have been reading some of the post here and I was wondering if you have any info or have any thoughts on my case. On July 10th I received this :

On July 10, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location

    Then on July 18th

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office

So my question is: Is this mean that my case is now in the Atlanta local office? I haven't heard for a case transferred to California Service Center and then back to a local office.

Any thoughts on the matter are much appreciated.

Congratulations to everyone who got approved for their EAD/AP. Good luck further :thumbs::thumbs:

  8. Hello

I was told that I can't schedule medical until I have an interview date. And I called a couple of times the consulate trying to schedule an interview while my documents were still in NVC but they said I should wait till they receive the case.

If you have any questions please write in PM. Will be happy to help a friend from BG

  9. Hello June AOS filers. I would like to join your group as well.We finished gathering all the documents last week and our lawyer sent it off. We are still waiting on NOA1 but the check hasn't cleared yet so it might take a few more days. I was wondering if any of you guys had SSN before. I had been working in US before and I have my SSN already. Do I need to change the card or not really?

Wish us good luck and speedy journey :thumbs::thumbs:

  10. Hello everyone. Congratulations for all the progress that you have made. Its good to see everbody are going forward with the journey.

A little update on our case. We are already married YAY. :) On friday we have a meeting with our lawyer to finally send all the paperwork for the AOS. We had no problem or waiting for the marriage license but it was interesting to find out that our county only perform marriages on Monday. So we had to find county that agrees to do it at the time we wanted it. Some of them don't do it if your license is issued in a different county. We waited a week or so to receive our marriage certificate. We got married by John Paul Johnes. How funny is that? :) I haven't changed my name yet due to all the complications it might cause. Decided to do it after i receive my green card.

Filing for AOS is realatively easy but need to go to a civil surgeon to update your vaccination record to a new form. He had to perform a TB skin test (i haven't gotten one back home) and waited for the results a couple of days. After that he gave me a sealed envelope which i should add to the AOS paperwork.

Hopefully it will all be done soon and we get to te waiting part again.

I want to wish you all the best of luck with your paperwork, interviews, POE and most of all tons of happiness with your SO.

    E&E

  11. CONGRATULATIONS on getting your interview dates Ellie and Popo's Lady. Everything is so easier when you can count down to a certain date :) Wish you the best of luck.

We got our marriage license and we are getting married on Friday. :) His family will be attending and I am really excited about it. Other than that its pretty boring to be a housewife :) Don't know how people do it all the time. Can't wait to start working something. (I will probably regret my words later :)
