    We got our visa processed at the US POE last week and our physical card will be mailed to US address on file. Do we need to apply for Social Security number or it gets mailed along with your GC ?

    They did not asked too many Q's. Initial few questions were related towards family and spouse followed by couple of EB5 specific Q's like - source of funds, your project details and regional center information. Overall interview lasted 5-10 minutes which included Oath, finger printing for all family members and small ice breaker conversation. Officer was cordial and very supportive. Best of Luck to all EB5 folks.

    It does not matter, both color and B/w copies are accepted. I had a mix of both and they did not care.

    We did our EB5 interview on Friday (Jan 30) and received our visa packet by Purolator this morning. Thank you everyone for your help and support.

    Can someone who did medical exam in Montreal share if passport pictures are needed by the panel doctor ? I have received conflicting information that each applicant needs to bring 5 copies (dated) during the examination versus do not bring any pictures as office admin will take a digital picture for their usage at-site. Do not want to spend $300 if not needed.

    This is the most rustic application ... You cannot set passport delivery location to your home address until you can confirm your interview date/time and currently this app does not allow you to select any dates in Jan 2026. What a waste of time.

    I am confused. Interview letter already has date and time of our scheduled appointment, why do you need to schedule your appointment again using Register tool ?

    CEAC status changed from NVC to Montreal - Should I expect IL soon ?

    I just received email from Montreal with subject - Preparing for your Immigrant VISA Interview - December 2025. There is no date but instructions on how to prepare and attend interview. Am I missing anything ? EB5 - DQ - Aug 2024

    what happens if your DS160 or DS260 (in my case) expires while waiting for your interview ? I was checking CEAC portal and my DS260 has expiration date in 2025.

    Is there any pattern as to when EB invites are mailed ? CR and IR folks usually receive their mail around 2 week of the month.... I am dq'ed Aug-2024 and wondering if any invites will be sent this month /
