  1. The letter, called a K1-FTP letter, (it comes as an email attachment) from NVC is to advise you of your Department of State case number and that the case file is on its way to the embassy
  2. Can you give us details on the interview? How the officer was, the kind of questions they asked, etc.?
  3. That’s great to hear! Let us know when they approve you! And thank you for sharing this!
  4. Today's stats: April 29, 2025 21:10 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 2,671 (+132) • Denied: 223 • FingerprintScheduled: 161 • InterviewCancelled: 151 • InterviewScheduled: 6,864 (+63) • Processing: 30,836 • Received: 655 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 390 • Terminated: 134 • Withdrawal: 11 • Others: 62
  5. Keep the thread updated and let us know what happens so others can benefit from your experience Good luck!
  6. So strange.... Their language states that you don't qualify for the form so based on that they are (incorrectly I believe based on your answers) saying that you are ineligible to use the EZ form. Personally, I would just file the I-864 and not waste the time to fight them.
  7. Well you obviously filed the I-130 so you meet that requirement. Is your spouse the only immigrant listed? And are you qualifying only using your income? No Assets?
  8. What type of visa is the beneficiary going to be applying for? i.e.: What kind of case is this?
  9. If they did not tell you why, I would ask the NVC via the public inquiry form
  10. You may have tried this already but I would try it again, and in the comments section, in the first line put "IMMIGRANT MEDICAL EXAM EXPIRING" and see if that catches someone's attention.
  11. Did you send an actual email or did you use the Immigrant Visa Contact Form on their website? If you didn't try that, I would give it a shot https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/
  12. Correct.... sorry I meant to type International Air Travel but I noticed it too late to edit
  13. Before I lived in the Philippines for a year, I got a Passport Card. While it cannot be used for international travel, I carried that around as my ID instead of my passport which I kept locked up in the safe in my condo. The passport card is also handy if you ever do lose your passport, it is a good ID to present to the US Embassy when you go to get an emergency replacement.
  14. Go here to request another NOA2 be sent to you https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/ndn
  15. What was the reason for the 221g? This is the biggest datapoint needed to give any kind of response based on other's experience
  16. Today's stats: April 28, 2025 22:05 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 2,539 (+181) • Denied: 220 • FingerprintScheduled: 161 • InterviewCancelled: 143 • InterviewScheduled: 6,801 (+25) • Processing: 31,051 • Received: 657 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 381 • Terminated: 132 • Withdrawal: 11 • Others: 62 And the trend of approvals outpacing interviews scheduled continues into the new week
  17. Ok so tell the officer this! If you don't remember your own, that's ok. The important thing is to be honest and if you don't know something just say you don't know. They won't expect you to know every tiny detail. My opinion, when they ask questions like that, it is to see how you react. Throw you off a little and then come back to something you should know if you're a legit couple. Like they'll say, "What's the color of your husband's toothbrush?" Then when you answer, they'll go back to, "Oh, what's your wedding date again?" Like they forgot but they're just trying to distract you with a silly question to see if that throws you off of a "memorized question"
  18. I think you guys will be just fine.... you're in a legit relationship and that's what really matters. You got this
  19. Today's stats: April 27, 2025 19:55 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 2,358 (+160) • Denied: 216 • FingerprintScheduled: 156 • InterviewCancelled: 141 • InterviewScheduled: 6,776 (+23) • Processing: 31,268 • Received: 660 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 382 • Terminated: 130 • Withdrawal: 9 • Others: 63 And the trend of approvals outpacing interviews scheduled continues
  20. Yeah I wish I knew if it was just an outlier week (approvals have been outpacing interviews scheduled all week except for one day) or if it's a trend
  21. I think she should be eligible for a new EAD under (c)(9) now that she has a I-485 pending. I don't know however if CHVN counts as refugee status? Adjustment of Status Categories 1. Adjustment Applicant under Section 245--(c)(9). File Form I-765 together with Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, or if filing separately, submit a copy of your I-485 receipt notice or other evidence that your Form I-485 is pending. NOTE: If you are an asylee or refugee and have applied to adjust to lawful permanent resident status on Form I-485, file Form I-765 under category (a)(5) as an asylee or (a)(3) as a refugee. Do not file under eligibility category (c)(9). See USCIS Form G-1055, Fee Schedule, available at www.uscis.gov/g-1055, for all information on filing fees.
  22. I don’t know under what category she was originally issued her EAD, but if she has a pending I-485 she should be eligible for an EAD under filing category c9 shouldn’t she? That’s the category all pending Adjustment of Status applicants use to get an EAD
