  1. Ahh yeah I have heard of the Kentucky Derby! And California.
  2. Ahh so you have had to a wait a little while. What state are you applying for? And I don't think I had to wait too long for the NVC and London Embassy.
  3. Thank you! And yeah definitely contact them - I found all the staff there helpful. It took about a year from my fiancee submitting the petition. And I will be travelling later this year. When did you submit your petition/application?
  4. Thank you - I had my visa interview last week though where I was approved so really happy about that! When I did ask medical related queries when on the phone to Visa Medicals before my medical appointment they were generally able to advise on most things but one or 2 people did say that they didn't want to advise on medical queries as they weren't medically qualified and that it was better to speak to the nurse. You could still try calling them and they may take your details and then ask a nurse and then call you back or you could email them?
  5. I'm not too sure unfortunately but you could put a post on the forum and see if someone knows or you could wait until the medical and speak to the nurse about it? Before I had my medical I was informed by Visa Medicals over the phone regarding my appointment and on the booking confirmation email that I needed a Covid booster vaccine but I decided to wait and see what the nurse at my medical appointment advised me.
  6. I had 2 doses in 2021 and then a booster in 2022 so 3 doses there and then a booster last month. Have you had the vaccine before?
  7. I would keep checking the site regularly to see what dates and times become available
  8. Apologies but why would you need more than one Covid dose?
  9. Yeah £98 is what I paid for mine. Also it might be worth speaking to the nurse when you have your medical as they have all the vaccination requirements, etc. When is your medical?
  10. There should be a list of Covid vaccine providers in the medical appointment confirmation email.
  11. That's good then! Glad it's all sorted now.
  12. I think DX Freight just deliver Monday to Friday from when I looked online
  13. I would just call them - it's more direct and easier. And no I received it by email.
  14. It should be ok. I had 6 weeks between my medical and visa interview. Once I got Covid vaccination proof I emailed over to Visa Medicals. After 2-3 days I rang them up and they said they would look into and get back to me. They rang back and left me a voicemail saying they had checked with the nurse and my file had all been signed off and was ready for the courier to collect and deliver to the embassy the next day. The vaccination worksheet was sent not long after that I think. I would give them a call tomorrow and ask them to give you an update.
  15. Thank you @Tesco - still got quite a few things to sort out though.
  16. Thank you @Moda25! Interview was last Thursday (8th August) and then was issued the day after on Friday (9th August).
  17. Just an update on this - I received my passport and sealed documents today. Delivered when they said they would and my grandma signed on behalf of me.
  18. Just an update to say that passport and sealed documents have been delivered to me today
  19. Just an update on this - I arrived around an hour and a half before my interview haha but I just waited around for about 30 minutes before joining the queue which I have left a review regarding the embassy on the embassy page on this sites as well.
  20. Sorry for the late response - I did put my grandmas name down for this and printed off the details and gave them to the person conducting my interview as they hadn't received the update of me amending the details 2 days before my interview
  21. That's ok. Definitely take it just in case
  22. Hi, I had my interview earlier this week and I was only asked for my birth certificate. I did take a copy of my fiancees as well though just in case they asked for it though.
  23. Just an update on this - District Coffee - which is across the road from the Embassy stores bags for £10 and laptops for £5
  24. Hi all, I have my visa appointment soon and I will be travelling down to London and stopping at my cousins the night before so I will have a backpack with me with my documents for my visa interview, a few spare clothes and a toothbrush. Has anybody been allowed into the Embassy with a backpack at all? If not, did you use any baggage storage nearby at all? I have read that there is a coffee shop across the road from the Embassy that are able to store bags for people? Hope you can help!
  25. I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience at your GP Surgery but try not to worry too much about it (easier said than done I know). Definitely see what they say at the medical as they will know what vaccinations are exactly required for you and can probably do most of the vaccinations you require on the day.
