  1. I have a question on how to receive a copy of the NVC welcome letter. I misplaced the letter I received and have tried requesting another through the NVC inquiry link by email. 3 separate occasions I receive the same response that a copy will be sent to the email on file within 2 business days and if no email is on file one will be mailed in 2 weeks. Well, it's been almost 2 months without an email or physical copy in the mail. This is the only thing holding my wife up from getting her police certificate from the Hong Kong police needed to upload to NVC and schedule her interview. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Just wish I knew why it keeps timing out in the middle of actively working on it. Very, very frustrating.
  3. I'll try the VPN route, I already have everything wrote down to enter as fast as I can. Even after I finally had everything completed for that section and tried to save, I get a screen telling me my connection was lost even though I was still connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  4. I'm still running into this problem of getting timed out during the course of entering the information and having everything reset, it won't even let you save as you input information if that section is not complete. And of course there is no contact available other than email. Does anyone know of any remedies??
  5. Just what I was looking for! I've been having the same exact issue trying to complete the DS-260 for my wife. It has been very frustrating as I'm sure you know, in the very least.
  6. I have filled out the I-864 online and have a question about additional information. I filled out the shaded areas on the form online and wanted to know if there is any other information I need to write in other than my signature.
  7. Anybody happen to have any idea what the time frame is for the consulate in Hong Kong scheduling interviews?
  8. Approved today 12-16-2024!! Finally! Now on to the next step
  9. It doesn't affect their lives, so it doesn't matter to them. That's how it is.
  10. They haven't figured that out yet.
  11. Yep, you're not the only one. We would have been approved that last week of May, instead I receive an RFE because I misread a portion of the application where my wife's information should have been put there, but I put my information in by mistake. Received the RFE May 31st and sent a letter back to them July 30th, stating the screw-up since there was no "evidence" on my wife's behalf. Still waiting....
  12. It's another level of assistance with USCIS. They take on the more involved problems. When/if you need to call USCIS the person you initially speak to is Tier 1 and they will either be able to help you or they will submit the issue "up the ladder" to a Tier 2 office/agent. That can take at least up to 30 days. Mine was submitted June 7th and still waiting to hear from them.
  13. Unfortunately, still waiting for a Tier 2 agent to contact me. Hopefully by next week, it will be 30 days since the ticket was put in. I can't stress it enough everyone to make sure your application(s) are 100% correct! I would have been approved May 23rd if not for my screw up.
  14. Sorry for the delay. I received it through the mail a just a few days after my original notification.
  15. Re-submit the I-130? As far as the RFE goes, I'm not going to have any documentation for that because it's my wife's info they're asking for and it doesn't apply to her. I don't have any address to send anything to them, they want me to send it by FAX. Re-submit the I-130? 17. No, didn't go through an attorney. Probably wouldn't have this problem if we had though. She's never filed for B1/B2, she's never been married before. I did speak with another person at USCIS on Friday and she was so much more help than the guy I spoke with before that. I had explained to her everything that had happened and mentioned to her that I was given advice to have this sent to a Tier 2 (thanks Tom). So, she did put a ticket in for a Tier 2 agent to contact me, and now I wait for the call. I received the RFE in the mail on Sat as well. They gave me until Sept to submit, but I need to get it done like yesterday. The office in Montgomery, AL is the one that's supposed to be calling. Hopefully very soon.
  18. Yes, I received their RFE a couple of days ago. Apparently I put the information for my past marriage/divorce in the spot for my wife's information (she's never been married before) and now they are asking for her documents for marriage /divorce. I talked to a person at USCIS yesterday and there's nothing they can do to change it. He recommended an immigration attorney to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  19. Can someone tell me how I will receive the RFE that USCIS is requesting? Their message to me was that the request was sent on the 31st? Will that come through the mail /FedEx? Thanks
