  1. I am wondering if you could provide an update on the status of your visa? Has it been issued? If so, how many weeks/ months after the interview? Thank you

  3. No it does not affect processing time. I added my child to our case by uploading and submitting the scans of birth and identity certificates through NVC portal. Please check FAQ section on NVC website.
  4. If I were you, without a doubt, I would transfer my case to the other country as Montreal consulate is one of the worst. Before make a request for transfer, research and educate yourself about the waiting time, etc. of that consulate.
  5. Yes, that is really odd and frustrating. I am the only guy in the spreadsheet who is DQ in June 2021 with current priority date (April 2020) but was not invited for an interview yet.
  6. Apparently, no IL has been sent to anybody since last May. I have been DQ since June 2021 and my priority date is current (2020 for EB2), but no response to my follow-ups nor IL yet.
  7. We may prepare a letter and send to the congress immigration subcommittee office: https://judiciary.house.gov/subcommittees/committee-judiciary/subcommittee-immigration-integrity-security-and-enforcement I reviewed committees quickly, and think this subcommittee is the right one. There is another committee foreign affairs, but I don't think that it would have anything to do with the immigration affairs. Any comments, thoughts?
  8. Yes I did notice that weird change. Apparently, Montreal consular updates are not accurate. Please see the image of the Montreal Operation update page that I took last month.
  9. Based on the latest Montreal consular update, most employment cases that were DQ in April 2022, were scheduled for an interview. I have been DQ for more than two years (June 2021) and my priority date is current (ROW, 2020); however, unfortunately, my interview has not been scheduled yet. Has anybody, with current priority date and DQ in 2021 or 2022, received interview letter this month? By the way, I did not see any new info. on the spreadsheet.
  10. Hello, I have been checking the updates of the US Consulate in Montreal every month over the past year. Since last February or even earlier, the employment-based visas has not been progressed. The consulate updates keep stating "most Employment cases scheduled for interview were documentarily complete in January 2021." It seems the consulate has stopped scheduling EB1, 2 and 3 interviews even for those who are current. Does anybody have any idea what is going on at that consulate?
  11. Hello everybody, I have been checking the updates of the US Consulate in Montreal every month over the past year. Since last February or even earlier, the employment-based visas has not been progressed at all. The consulate updates keep stating "most Employment cases scheduled for interview were documentarily complete in January 2021." It seems the consulate has stopped scheduling EB1, 2 and 3 interviews even for those who are documentarily complete and current. Does anybody know what is going on at that consulate?
