BESIDE THE ABOVE QUESTION...
usually what type of question do they ask....................little bit nervous we are right now...................
I think you have more than enough.. The AOS interview is not usually intense as the one you had in your home country.
The question they ask are just basic questions like, how long you been married, what is parents name, his phone number and stuffs like that also i believe they will ask for proof of bona fide marriage which you have stated most of them above.
You shouldn't worry i believe are you good, you already scaled through the hardest part of the process which is getting the visa from your home country, it's just going to be a breeze
Good luck

I noticed some people seem to have recieved thier green cards in the mail without an AOS interview and was wondering if K-3/4 holders require the AOS interview ? Also, has the normal time period of the AOS process been delayed due to the influx of applications? Thanks.
K3/4 require interview i think only K1 may not require interview in some cases.

Hi!
I am very confused as I used to track my case online (K1 visa) without any problem!
I received by mail 3 receipt numbers for I-485, I-131 and I-765. All starting with the MSC letters and none of them work when I enter them in the USCIS.gov website.
I also received the biometrics appointment that mentions the same receipt numbers.
Is it the website that has a problem?
Any clue?
I tried to call them without success!
Thank you for your help!
It takes sometimes before your case is updated into the USCIS website
Good luck

I am sorry about that, sure there is something you can do i know you can get your GC via the I-360. Hope somebody will come along and tell you more.
Good luck
-
Don't panic you will certainly receive your NOA and your check will be cashed soon. Some people got their NOA at least 3weeks from the day they mailed off their AOS package, all you have to do is pray and be patient.
Good luck
-
It is up you and your wife if she wants to change her last name to yours since you both are married, a lot of people have successfully change their name to their married name but one thing for sure you can't tell if you will be RFE'd or not .
Good luck
-
I submitted my AOS application with my DS-3025 and no RFE i only got RFE for I-864 but i did have the have DS-3025 transferred to the I-693A just in case they RFE me but they didn't.... I will suggest you get your DS-3025 transferred to the I-693A to be on a safe side, you may get RFE and you may not.
Congratulations on your marriage and good luck with your AOS applications
-
You should expect to get your EAD at least 30days from the day your applications was approved. A lot of people received their EAD at least 2weeks from the it was approved, so it's pretty much sure you will have it in the mail before the month runs out.
I am hoping to get my approval sometimes next week too God willing.
Good luck .

WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
:D
:D
Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Current Status: Card Mailed On March 18, 2008, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
by my calculations, thats 43 days from the issue date of the NOA to the issue date of the card
YEA!! Congratulations!!!
Congrats!!! My husband got his AP approved and his EAD card ordered today too! Yay!
Congratulations, you the first person to be approved of AP/EAD among the febuary filers
-
If you have been married for more than 2yrs then 10 unconditional GC will be issued.
We have been married since 2005 as well so we are looking forward to the 10yrs GC
Good luck
-
You might wanna take them of before you go your biometrics
-
Congratulations !!
-
-
Thanks for the information. But a lot of people have successfully had their GC without taking the TB skin test and some people like you got RFE for their medicals.
All i can say is that it all depends on the officer who is reviewing your case, I too received RFE for I-864 while some didn't all the same good luck
Regards
-
I just mailed back my RFE today i hope they get it sometimes this week
-
I just sent my AOS package to CHicago. I am waiting for my SS Card. What will be the next steps? what i have to prepare for the INterview? Please post your experinces...
Keep your fingers crossed until you receive your NOA's then you will go from there
Good luck
