Not to alarm anyone, but someone in the FB group I'm in - for UK applicants of US spousal visas - had their CR1 interview cancelled in November due to tube and train strikes. Her interview was on 10th Nov and she received an email on 4th Nov advising her to re-schedule (just advisory), and then she received another email on 7th Nov officially cancelling, so it was quite short notice. She was able to re-arrange it for 14th Nov (this was based on embassy availability). The group is this one if you want to join and see the post.
To your point, though, can't see cancellations for other strike days so it may depend on the severity of the strike and they could still call the strike off completely.

It seems explicitly because of the strikes - this was the advisory email but she didn't post a pic of the cancellation email.

You do not automatically lose LPR status at 2 years, only the proof has expired and one is required to file an I751 to remove the conditions. Only an IJ can take someone's status away.

No. Once you enter the US via a spousal visa, your visa will be stamped (endorsed) by CBP. The endorsed visa serves as a temporary Green Card for a year. Your plastic Green Card then overrides the stamp.

As stated in the cited thread, leaving on THE last day of visa validity can be risky if your flights are delayed. A 2-week cushion is fine. It will save you time and money to get an IR-1 designation.

In regards to the expiration date, we entered the day before it expired. 😂
Granted, it was a K1 but still the same idea applies. No issues at all!
I definitely recommend waiting until it converts to an IR1. ROC isn't too fun.

No I was unable as well. It advises to leave it 5 days whilst the system updates. Try again at the weekend.

Usually people get their IL emails first thing at like 6am UK time, so I don’t think we will hear anything this week. Perhaps the end of next week, as that will then have been nearly 4 weeks since the last set of letters were sent out

No, you need the standard US size which is not the same as the UK size. See: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos/photo-composition-template.html

Oh I know. I had to threaten the manager of my GP service with legal action if they didn't provide my medical records. Took them over 8 weeks.

That’s perfect that you have the medical organised. I’m sure you will hear anyday now and will be surprised just how soon it will be. Good luck
