We’re getting ready to file for N-400 this January, we decided to skip December since the holidays are always busy for everyone, less chance of getting our paperworks overlooked 🙃 We’re debating if we should file through mail like usual or try filing online. Update, just got a NOA in the mail today. USCIS has extended my GC to 48 months instead of just 24 months. Same, after getting my extension letter 09/2022. No news about fingerprints at all 😭

We did both actually, we changed our address through the USCIS website and mailed it through USPS just to be sure. But they still messed it up 😅

We did a change of address when we moved from FL to TN March this year and never got anything. They even sent the 90days (GC expiring) reminder to FL and USPS forwarded it TN, so we had to do another change of address. Maybe it would count as “filed” on the date they received the packet, not when it was signed or dated. (Again, I could be wrong lol) We’re probably just being super paranoid, and overthinking things. I received my text notification (with receipt number & informing me that the official receipt notice to follow in mail) just yesterday, you’ll most likely get yours soon too! We’re expecting them to cash out our check sometime next week. Sending good vibes your way!

Hi! I’m kind of in the same situation (?) My 90 days started 09/15/22 and our forms were signed and dated before that 90 days window. I’ve read somewhere else that USCIS looks at the date they received your paperworks, but I’m no immigration expert lol. So I guess the best thing to do now is just wait and see what happens.
