Yes we also have the emailed welcome letter. He just made an account and we have everything else done. I thought we had to wait for "case ready" to book an interview but it seems like we don't. It also seems to be taking longer than others. I'll have him take a look. Thank you!!

I am assuming this based on the timing of replies I have received from NVC to my previous inquiries. Earliest as 7:23am and as late as 11:21pm eastern.
 
As per ***removed***, NVC live assistance hours are 7:30am - midnight. I am making another assumption that these were the working hours when they had the phone lines working. I could be wrong.

You have to call Visa Medicals to schedule an appointment, they will ask for your LND number and give you options of first availability, as far as I know medicals are valid for 6 months prior to entry to the US, so just make sure that your medical date covers that time frame. Once schedules I received an email with instructions on what to bring, vaccination requirements and a medical questionnaire to complete, in terms of visa paperwork, they accept the email/letter sent by NVC which shows the LND number and visa type so I printed off a copy to take.

You just need to wait until after January when the shot requirement is going away. For AOS - include the waiver for shots.
 
And there's nothing wrong if you and your future spouse do not want to take covid (or any other) shots. That's what waivers are for.

We’ve been emailing too. 
 
Our NOA2 was 9th December. 
 
Our last email said they had received it and it was waiting. The generic one. 
 
Then we got this one saying it’s being worked on. I assumed this must mean we will get out case number in a couple days. 

Our NOA2 was 9th Dec. My fiancé emailed them last week and we got this response yesterday. 

Hey Guys, I’m so happy that most of you have received your interview letters this morning - Congratulations. I have my interview this Thursday,  can’t wait to get that bit done and can then start thinking about the future in the US. We are nearly there 🇺🇸.

Good news that NVC is speeding up! I am excited as someone who got a December 8th NOA2. Our case may be able to leave NVC by the end of Feb at this rate!

I mean the CDC website says if the vaccine is not routine offered then you can receive a waiver. 
 
What I don't understand is although it's not routinely offered to under 12's why they're saying they still have to have it. However when the jab is stopped altogether. I really don't think they have an argument or loop hole to avoid giving a waiver anymore. 
 
If it's not available, it's not available. 
 
You can't be an exception just for a visa, that's not an important reason. That's a lifestyle choice. I'd understand it if the USA was high risk and all citizens had to be vaccinated but that's not the case neither.

Well I had my noa2 on the 9th December. The letter said to give it 3-4 weeks to process at the NVC or something. 
 
we emailed them on the 9th of Jan and they replied that they had it, just not created a case file. 

NIV - non-immigrant visa. 
You can always do I-601 for covid shots - others on Vj have successfully done it (for covid shots and/or other vaccines) - try the waivers subforum. You can do it on religious and/or moral grounds. 

K-1 is non-immigrant so you can refuse it under I'll get it in the US but the current problem is getting into the US as they've extended rules for NIV to April. Hopefully those rules are rescinded soon as there's some indication the administration is ready (finally) to end the emergency rules on covid that they've been extending every 90 days most recently last Wednesday. 
 
If your spouse is a military service member use any and all exemptions available to you. 

We got our NOA2 on the 9th December!!! NVC said a couple of days ago that they have our case it’s just in a queue to create a file. 
 
Do we know how long this is currently taking for K1 visas until the interview at the moment? 

NOA2 is December 16th and my fiance's embassy is London. I am seeing that a lot of peoples applications arrive about a month and a week after NOA2. Hopefully that doesn't slow down over the holidiays!

I was previously including a 2022 shipping dates chart that’s created based off last years data, but I’ve been told the shipping dates have changed this year and I have not located an accurate chart.
