  1. File AR-11 online. Use apartment as your old address, since this is where you lived last. Use your house address as the new address. Save the receipt that you get in the browser. Cannot argue "I didn't know" as there's booklet that comes with Green Card telling you to do that. For N-400 make sure to list all addresses where you lived truthfully. Same if you're asked at I-751 interview. Good luck!
  2. Yes you can if you file everything together. Make sure to include biometrics fee.
  3. I see. Did you get a 48 month extension letter? Were your fingerprints reused? Those are the ones I'd expect.
  4. No updates here? https://egov.uscis.gov/
  5. Thank you, learning something new every day!
  6. You asked about Green Card, and @Mike E replied about Green Card. Expired visa doesn't give access to any countries. I doubt even an active US visa gives access anywhere other than USA.
  7. Google more. You'll find more topics on VJ and Reddit where people describe the whole process. You're suppose to get some code / case number if DMV really sent a request to DHS.
  8. Do you know for sure somebody at DHS is looking into your issue? Nobody cares at DMV / DHS unless you insist, unfortunately. My question to others: can DMV only check status using SAVE? Is there no manual override when a valid physical document is presented?
  9. Did you move addresses? Maybe your interview invitation letter was sent to a wrong address?
  10. @Matty0289 only you know your immigration history and all circumstances that could be slowing down your case. You can also sue USCIS for decision.
  11. What's your case status?
  12. Took 7 days from approval to receiving GC in mail.
  13. That's for sure, even if you don't apply for I-765 or I-131. This is requirement for I-485. You only pay one biometrics fee for all forms in packet.
  14. As long as you're presenting GC and extension letter to airline and CBP, you're good. I just don't think online check in for international flight is the same as online check in for domestic flight. The whole point for me of checking in online when travelling domestically is to never see an agent. For international flight you gotta see an agent regardless. In addition, you're never fully checked in, as it asks to "complete check in" at the airport. Hense I was curious about your experience.
  15. You should always say the truth on the forms. If you were to come to the US, marry him on this trip and try to adjust - this could become a problem. You can be accused of misrepresentation (both immigrant intent and not disclosing you know somebody in the US) and thus deemed inadmissible. And also reply truthfully to CBP about your travel plans.
  16. I think DMV employees don't know what they're doing. Try talking to a different person at DMV, or their manager, if not - different DMV location. GC is a proof of your status.
  17. Still file I-765 and I-131 in your AOS packet. It's free when filed with I-485. You can have multiple EAD cards, no problem. It's better to have one now, in case your current one expires, so you don't have to stop working while renewing your EAD.
  18. For domestic travel - you can travel with Real ID (driver's license / state ID just fine). No need for passport, no need for GC. How do complete online check in with passport only for international travel to the US? Every time I traveled with big airlines such as United, it asked for passport details and then for visa or GC details. It couldn't complete check me in online and I had to show documents at the airport. As far as I know passport is a must for international air travel and has to be provided no matter what. GC is what CBP want to see when you enter the US. You need valid passport, GC and extension letter to re-enter the US by air.
  19. USCIS is still around in 3023 and still backlogged? Oh my! Any pending I-751 cases from 2023? Those must be bonafide marriages for sure for joint filers.
  20. Congratulations! That's amazing news!
  21. It can be bouncing for a while. USCIS may not know what to do with it because it's still potentially under court jurisdiction. Eventually then may close it. Imagine waiting another few years to find out they cannot adjudicate it. Better to consult with somebody who deals a lot with removal proceedings.
  22. I always heard it's done the other way round as @Demise described. Have you consulted with any other attorney? Does your attorney have a lot of experience dealing with cases like yours? Are they real attorney?
