Suggest focus on collecting "quality"  evidence of ongoing relationship, for K1. My fiance provided boarding passes on his trips to the PH (about 4x). We supplemented then by printing photos of trips we took, including description of who's who in the picture. We also included receipts of  flower and gift deliveries he sent, as well as Cards and Letters that showed our addresses. We provided  screenshots of whataspp messages (though not really much).

    Thanks everyone for your advices

Less red flags .. thats helpful. Its still an unknown unfortunately .. any possibility of meeting up? .. even if its just for a week .. or coincides with the interview date when you get it ? The longer you have to wait for the interview the more important meeting again will be

I spoke to him about meeting up but he’s unsure , I’ll try and convince him and make him realize how important it is for us to meet and increase our chance of approval

How long each time .. when.. where ? Fiance home country ?  Its a big picture question. Other factors cone into it too Are you both Nigerian? What are your ages. If you can help with some details that would be good. Bottom line .. if you can meet up again before the interview that will  greatly strengthen your application

1 month one time and 2weeks  the other two times ,  we are both Nigerians . Age difference is 4 years , He’s older .

For Nigeria, it could be a problem.  Nigerian cases receive a lot of scrutiny.  How much time have you actually been face to face?  I agree with @Dashinka.

We have seen thrice since we started the relationship . Will it still be an issue ?

the CO will ask these types of questions of Nigerian to see how well you know the USC and how familiar  u r with his past and present life and life changes

the CO can ask anything /  just to make sure you are in a "real relationship"

Okay noted , I’m glad I’m aware of everything and also prepared if that question comes up thank you @JeanneAdil

Yes..they will ask ..but they won't deny nor affect your petition. My initial answer was on the latter part of the sentence.

So, make sure you know in great detail from your boyfriend what transpired with the previous petition, who the lady was etc. You don't want to be asked and you're blank. But just basics...nothing too deep.

Okay so the question will likely come in the interview stage ? Not during this first phase, now I understand

Nigeria K1's are always under high security but the USC has informed u of the prior case and the reason for withdrawal , so you are prepared

Yes I am , thank you

  7. Pls I have a question , My fiancé and I started this process and submitted our petition last month for the k1 visa but I’m so confused cos he filed for his ex gf 2019 , got an RFE , but withdrew the case cos she cheated on him and they broke up so he never responded to the rfe and instead withdrew . We started dating February of 2020 and we are so in love and he proposed last year September , we submitted our petition this year . Will the previous petition have an effect on this new one ?
