    Hi there, I’m from Colombia and 6 years ago my parents and I came to the US and applied for political asylum (I was 19) got married with a US citizen and was granted the 2 years green card. However, I resigned my political asylum (which my dad is the main person in that case) and I am going to Colombia in 3 weeks with my husband, but my lawyer just told me that it might be risky to go since on the way back to the US immigration can deny entrance if they want to because even if I resigned my political asylum it will stay in my immigration history until I become a citizen. Thank you
