  1. After 1 year of becoming a member and reading through here, backlog does not matter to me anymore. USCIS has a mysterious way of processing K1. As of now nobody knows their criteria on how the approval process works. The only thing that Im sure of is there is no backlog from 2 years ago.
  2. 6 months before (September/October 2022), which is march 2022 at 300-500 cases? and on Nov, Dec as well? Did I get right? These group applies the 16.5?
  3. Yes! thanks. Im aware there are other visas assigned to this range as well. only 103 are for k1, rest are different visas. I think 69000 range is the end for march. But anyway thanks again!!!
  4. 67500: 103 Untouched. So from 67000 thru 67500, there are only 103 individual remain untouched in this range? I belong to this range.
  5. I stand corrected OP. Two members has proven me wrong. But before you continue on your journey, try to send her a simple hello card to see if she gets it. You must do a video call with her before proceeding. If she gives you excuses move to the next one in your list.
  6. is there an issue for not running up to 67500? is it too many filers? but thanks for your effort...
  7. If this website, VJ, could come up with an algorithm that would let the filers make more precise approval prediction down to just 1 week from our assigned number, Im pretty sure it will attract more users. More user means more investors. Im surprised non of the mods knows how to run scripts for us. We all relying on members here and get pass along the way. But Im cool with their policy, being a keyboard police. Like Tbone and other mods, they sound eloquent not just in writing skills but also in responding to questions and suppressing foul statements. Ok enough with this.lets go back to more important issue. our processing time.... Im getting anxiety more and more and now. I belong to the last week of march. can someone confirm the 16.5 increased processing time does not apply to all filers in fiscal year 2022? And Im sorry for the OP who got skipped. knowing other filers after him already got approved.
  8. Well everyone is saying good stuff. OP need to hear bad stuff as well. So he can make a decision. being born and raised there I smell anomaly. My point is let’s not give him all the good stuff. Im not saying she is a scammer. I take it back. She is maybe hiding something. She is unable to give out her physical address is not ok in this day and age. she already making his head spin with just her location alone. Can you imagine if they get married. This is my take. OP make final decision. I’m not here to stop his romantic endeavors.
  9. Some fun fact. 80% of us will get processed by June. Uscis does not process in sequential order. Some of us will get rfe….
  10. Thanks. Been waiting for this thread for a whole year. Every one is saying our processing time increased to 16.5 now.
  11. So this 16.5 only applies to September 2022 and beyond filers? Prior to this filers are still in 14.5 months.
  12. I have been trying to figure out what’s behind these “skimming “ process they do. Some members came out with an explanation but not enough. I was always think if a filer has lots of baggage like divorce , Uscis would skip that filer. I was wrong on that. There is no set rules that is available to us. I can understand their expedite process. Like a hardship or come from a war torn country. They get processed right away.
  13. Yeah hang in there bro. There are hundreds of filers just like you , some are in worse situation than you, are being bypassed. sometimes going through here would make you feel being left out. When you find out filers who filed after you has already checked out. Im expecting the worst case scenario which is plus 5 months for me. Just turn to 16.5 processing times overnight.
  14. You are being scam brother. Stay away from her ASAP!,,,
  15. I feel you brother. I used to think that they would pick and choose the easy ones, like no baggage attached, I was wrong. still a mystery on how they process. It is not in sequential order. thanks for responding.
  16. Is your credentials are good, like no divorced, maybe that is why they skipped him and processed you first? Im trying to figure out reasons why they skipped and not being consistent. Im divorced myself so they may skip me as well.
  17. This made me speculated on what is behind this increase processing time. I’m glad we’re agreed on something. Other members speculated their theories as well. Some of them sounded legit some might hit your nerve.
  18. I will start by saying I am a proud legal alien who went through a very meticulous and very long process. And so are my friends and families. That is all I have to say about that. It’s going to be a long and angry debate and pretty sure the mods won’t like it.
  19. What I meant to say is local data, wishful data, tribal knowledge data. In my personal opinion some members inputs here has given me a general knowledge of where is my general location is from this very long list. Just my personal opinion. There is only one official web we can get info from, Uscis. Which is very diabolical vague. now here in vj, in my opinion, is slightly have better chance of making speculation/predictions. Thanks to all participating members. Caution! Do not take my word with a grain of salt. Always check other sources as well. Also thanks for commenting about my comment. And next time I should start by saying “in my opinion”. I have no affiliation with vj.
  20. Guys and gals, any idea behind why is the processing time went up? I know you folks has seen this before when you got caught up with the COVID.
  21. So you considered a false alarm then? Everybody’s got exited for a moment.
  22. pardon the word I used, I dont want to get ban, I meant to say ¨unverified things to say¨.
