  1. Hi just to share with you my AOS timeline

    10/20/2022 - I485 I765 I131 sent

    10/24/2022 - priority date

    11/04/2022 - biometric appointment scheduled

    11/25/2022 - biometric

case status changed to actively reviewed

    02/05 - i485 case approved

Filing from San Jose CA to Chicago lockbox

    service center : NBC

DIY, not expedited, no RFE, no interview

It still feels like I’m in my dream, AOS approved in a little bit over 3 months. I first received an email from USCIS at 4am says they have taken an action on my case but the status didn’t change until around 1pm. My work permit didn’t get approved the day after biometric was done, I was so disappointed because it felt like a new round of waiting game just begun. I’m so grateful it’s finally over.

Hope you all get approved soon,

    Good luck 🤞

I would also contact AIT in Taipei and inform them.  They can request the transfer as well.

thanks for your advise, i am trying to find out the correct email address to reach out to. For Guangzhou consulate,  there is an emergency contact email but I assume this isn't the case. I also found this email address CIS.Guangzhou@uscis.dhs.gov under U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES (USCIS) but I am afraid it might take forever for USCIS to reply. I am very traumatized after 14.5 months of waiting for NOA2.

It is similar situation for AIT, I cannot find the right email address :((((((

Well sadly it looks that USCIS is slowly transitioning to June. There us around 500 of us with untouched cases such a gut punch.

When you finally start hoping, USCIS crushes you. I am May 27 filer, 418 days and counting.

I experienced exact the same thing when USCIS moved on to May filers but our case was finally approved after 437 days of waiting. The last two weeks of waiting was the hardest part because I was scared to death that our case might never be reviewed. Because of the time difference, I woke up at 1am every night to scan not just my case but cases filed around the same time. So I unfollowed k1 groups on fb and deleted USCIS app. I do think it helps a little. My best advise is to shift your attention somewhere else. It’s not easy, stay strong and your turn will come very soon. Prayers for 500+ untouched May cases and 188 untouched April cases.

LOL! I am laughing then felt very sad about it.  How long will they torture us?  There's nothing going in the 76500 group again today. :(

It’s been like this for two weeks already, I honestly feel hopeless. Our case is simple and straightforward, we’ve been together 7 years and I have no idea why we are being punished this way.

    March (5) + April (62) + May (5) + June (12) = 84 total updates

Today I celebrate my 13 month milestone waiting for NOA2, no approval for my group 76xxx since May 12. Standing ovation to USCIS, USCIS never disappoints when it comes to “new ways to break you down.” I’ve always been trying to stay positive and put myself together through another day of waiting. But it just seems this nightmare is endless. 😭

Here are the end of day updates. Not many updates came end afterwards. I'm noticing a pattern of mostly just RFEs after mid day.

    76000: 3 Approvals (2 new / 1 in progress)

    76500: 4 Approvals (3 new / 1 in progress)

    05/04/22: 52 Total Updates: 31 Approvals, 19 RFEs, 1 Withdrawal, and 1 Other

March had 6 denials today 😱

    March (20) + April (52) = 72 Total updates.

Thanks for posting this everyday, this is what keeps me sane. But it’s brutal to Get a denial after 13 months of waiting. I’d like to believe the case officer actually spent. a lot of time to evaluate these cases.

also, can someone help me to understand the difference between April filers log and USCIS tracker. I’m from 76000 group. The numbers of untouched cases and total does not seem to match up with it shows on case tracker.

please clear me a doubt the 76 thousand and the 76500 are not having movement right? why not be on this week's list? I'm Asking why I'm from the 76000 lot

The last movement of this batch was 29th of March, here is the link to the daily updates for April 21 filers: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1USXTWEww37JnWiCxW6ftP1UZjE6fKU2gn2Mk4OSVGLw/htmlview?lsrp=1#

83 cases plus 16 cases for March, that’s 99 cases total touched! This is almost the most productive day of the year so far. Keep this momentum!

K1 is not only visa affected by slowdown.

Check other forums, every single visa type is having same issues, EAD, CR1 and others.

And if you are Indian or Chinese (Mainland) forget about getting green card, since there have been reported cases with wait time estimation of not years but decades

There are reports of Indian doctors working in USA loosing Jobs due to slowdown in EADs.

I’m fully aware of the fact that K visa is not the only visa reporting delays but I do find CR1 visa review time has been reduced substantially since review time of k1 went the other way. For k1, weekly reviewed cases went from approximately 500 to less than 250. But little did I know, I would have chosen spouse visa over K1.

GC is another thing we gotta face after we file for AOS. It’s going to be a long journey but I already feel drained. Best of luck to all my fellow April filers, hope to see your approvals soon.

It is actually extremely bad look for USA, since honestly i thought this was advanced country.

I am foreigner living in China, and here everything is digitized thus all government business is super fast, and delays are minimal.

Looking to US now, I am honestly starting to ask myself are we(my fiance and I - she is American) really making the right choice :D should we stay in China(she would come back to China)?!?

If the immigration is this broken in land of immigrants, what else is f*cked beyond repair?!?

I think we can all agree the delays aren’t caused by backlogs or previous administration or the filing method. It is a choice made by USCIS that they no longer prioritise k visa so they reallocated the manpower to other categories since the newly appointed agency director is onboard. The number of reviewed cases went down as the number of pending cases went up. However, USCIS will never disclose any of the information to public, i just hope they can pick up the speed so the rest of the filers will not suffer as much as we do.

    Updates so far

    70000- 1 Approval

    71000 - 10 Approvals 8 RFE and 2 Other

    71500 - 5 RFE

    73500 - 1 Other

    75000 - 1 Other

So far these are the updates. 11 Approvals., 13 RFE and 4 Other

March has 31 cases touched, so that’s total 59 cases in one day. The backlogs aren’t going to reduce anytime soon with this speed 🥲

Congrats to April filers who got approved, seeing more and more positive news is a great encouragement. I wish we all share the good luck when it comes to our turn.

Slight more updates than yesterday. I was hoping for more since March was pretty slow today (a lot of duplicate updates in March).

    April updates for 04/05/22:

    69000: 4 Approvals, 3 RFEs
    69500: 1 Approval, 1 Withdrawal
    70000: 2 Approvals, 3 RFEs
    70500: 1 RFE
    71000: 12 Approvals, 5 RFEs
    71500: 2 Approvals, 1 RFE
    74500: 1 Approval
    77000: 1 RFE
    79000: 1 Approval
    79500: 2 Withdrawals
    80500: 1 Approval

    41 Total updates:  24 Approvals, 14 RFEs, 3 Withdrawals

Thanks so much for putting it together but any of the approval is from yesterday? That’s what happens to the March group. I just hope nothing is duplicated. The rejected/denied cases went from 10 to 4 in my group, don’t know what happened.

Good morning Remaining March filer peeps let's see what this week brings. As I start off today at 1 year 26 days 😐

Have you sent out a case inquiry? If yes, have you received a real response? We sent case inquiry back in December 2021 before USCIS pushed back the timeline. But only received general reply. I really want to know whether this new timeline reflects on what USCIS is actually working on.

    71500 - 0

    72000 - 0

    72500 - 0

    73000 - 0

    73500 - 0

SO far 6 approvals and 4 RFE's. Hope we get more by the end of the day

Hi it seems there’s no updates since yesterday pm. I ran few batches on case tracker app but I only saw very few cases touched so far :( may I know who’s usually here to run numbers and update information? I’m anxious to know how many cases touched today.

Does this also mean people who have filed inquiries but no longer qualify for them would not be able to file legal action?  Just trying to understand

My understanding is any government agency including USCIS has to make a decision on each case within a reasonable time frame. If USCIS failed to act, filers can sue them by filing a lawsuit against USCIS. However, filers should have sent case inquiries, called USCIS and reached out to local congressperson before they file the lawsuit. With that being said, none of March/April filers can initiate lawsuits until we've done all of the above things. I believe Feb filers are qualified to do so if they've managed to try everything to move the case. I hope this explanation is clear.

My fiance did send an inquiry to USCIS back in 27th Dec 2021 but only received general responses. Then USCIS keep pushing back the timeline every time we are getting closer to send another inquiry. Next thing I am going to do is to email local congressperson just to show how bad things have gotten, processing time is now even longer after the pandemic started. There is another group of people on FB, they come up with a letter sample demanding USCIS to reduce processing time and a spreadsheet of congressperson/senator in every state. I am not sure if I can share that link here,,,

I agree with this idea because I'm almost 1 year old and no response

I checked with an immigration lawyer, you have to approve you've done everything in your power to request an update from USCIS before you file a complaint against USCIS. We are not even qualified for sending an inquiry as they keep pushing back the dates. it's been 338 days and I feel hopeless. People from other forums also told me our voices would not be loud enough to be heard.
