To my knowledge, there is no real difference related to processing times. Most folks submit the I130 petition online due to convenience. Our only experience with this type of situation was when my wife filed the N400. There was an option to file online, but my wife chose the paper route, and we did not really notice any delay.

Check the address on the I797.
But be aware they do move petitions around. For example our NOA1 indicated we were at Nebraska but our approval notice indicated the case was at Vermont.

No interference. It is obviously very low probability to be selected, but if you are the DV route will be much easier for both you and your spouse. Good luck.
