Immigrant visa declined under public charge
Family replied to alex01's topic in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion
Has your cousin /petitioner/sponsor recently used public benefits ? If so, there is a time frame that must pass without relying on/using public benefits. Is your cousin employed? He should definitely line up a job (or two) to show self sufficiency. Does wife or any child have any medical conditions that require specialized care? -
Defendants attorneys receive discovery. Likely long delays in store , trademark tactic by Trump who has been a defendant approx 3,500 times in various labor and civil claims, with over 4000 lawsuits on his resume. Special counsel gives Trump's team first batch of evidence in classified documents case Prosecutors said in the filing that the documents include evidence obtained through subpoena and search warrants; transcripts of grand jury testimony in Washington, D.C., and Florida; witness interviews conducted through last month; and excerpts of closed-circuit television footage The first production of unclassified discovery includes “the grand jury testimony of witnesses who will testify for the government at this case,” according to the filing. Prosecutors also said that Trump’s team can contact the government to arrange inspection of any unclassified items seized at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort on Aug. 8, 2022 https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trumps-team-gets-first-batch-evidence-classified-documents-case-rcna90554

When you upload new/corrected I-864 online , the Embassy can “see” the documents online and they will be able to finalize and issue visas without any further delay. …and place visas in the passports. Kindly note everyone has been advising you to do this FROM the moment you stated your wife’s name was on children’s forms…please trust the collective experience of the posters.

The prosecutor was a Trump political appointee, left in position to pursue the Hunter probe. He openly responded to the MAGA Republicans in Congress : ‘ I had ultimate authority “ over the case. U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who reportedly made a plea deal with Hunter Biden this week, wrote to House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) earlier in the month that he had “ultimate authority” over the probe. Weiss, who was appointed in 2018 by former President Donald Trump, had investigated Hunter Biden’s conduct for five years and has reportedly agreed for the president’s son to plead guilty on two federal misdemeanor counts for tax violations, which do not carry prison sentences. A separate gun-related felony count will be dismissed as long as Hunter Biden complies with a diversion program that will require him to abstain from drug use. https://www.mediaite.com/news/trump-appointed-prosecutor-who-cut-deal-with-hunter-biden-told-house-gop-he-had-ultimate-authority-over-case/

Hmm…relieved ? At the time, Snipes argued the IRS was an illegitimate government agency and cited an obscure section of the tax code that establishes that foreign sources of income for U.S. citizens are taxable. He also claimed he was a non-resident alien. Snipes was born in the U.S. in 1962, however He owed the government about $7 million in unpaid taxes after accepting the arguments of his two co-defendants, an accountant and an anti-tax ideologue. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/06/20/wesley-snipes-taxes-jail-hunter-biden/70338937007/

Hunter listened to his attorney and took a plea. Donald did not. It's mine": Trump rejected own lawyers' advice to avoid criminal charges — and it badly backfired Seven Trump advisers told the outlet that Trump "misled his own advisers," insisting that the boxes he took only contained newspaper clippings and personal items, and repeatedly refused to give the documents back, "even when some of his longest-serving advisers warned of peril and some flew to Mar-a-Lago to beg him to return them." Last fall, Trump hired former Florida Solicitor General Chris Kise to represent him in the documents case, paying him a $3 million retainer. Kise wanted to quietly approach the Justice Department to try to negotiate a deal to avoid charges and "take the temperature down" by returning all of the documents https://www.salon.com/2023/06/15/its-mine-rejected-own-lawyers-advice-to-avoid-criminal-charges--and-it-badly-backfired/ Trump ignored his legal team's advice to settle the classified documents case. Instead, he listened to a conservative activist Former President Donald Trump rejected his legal team's proposal to try to settle the classified documents case with the Justice Department — and instead took the advice of a conservative activist who urged him to fight, according to a new report https://www.businessinsider.in/politics/world/news/trump-ignored-his-legal-teams-advice-to-settle-the-classified-documents-case-instead-he-listened-to-a-conservative-activist-/articleshow/101027251.cms

Superb. I personally DO NOT advise anyone to write in to USCIS before a divorce is final. You did the right thing in filing a timely AR -11 . With a solid/real though failed marriage, there is no reason to dread Natz. There are instances where ISO will ask a seemingly random/innocent question ( ex how did you propose to ex) and dig in depending on how applicant presents.

Nice going ! Congratulation and Welcome Back…do stay. How was the interview? …Let me guess a few questions on timeline of relationship/marriage/separation/ divorce , a couple of address question and you were NOT required to bring in any evidence of marriage bonafides … Humor me and please share your interview experience and I will adjust any skewed perception in my mind😂.

Indication of possible additional charges or new co-conspirators : The special counsel’s proposed protective order would bar the defendants and their lawyers from disclosing the discovery materials “directly or indirectly to any person or entity other than persons employed to assist in the defense, persons who are interviewed as potential witnesses, counsel for potential witnesses, and other persons to whom the Court may authorize disclosure.” The materials also include information pertaining to ongoing investigations, the disclosure of which could compromise those investigations and identify uncharged individuals https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/16/politics/justice-trump-prosecution-protective-order/index.html

A Freudian slip certainly involves words unintended words to be spoken aloud…i doubt she was going for a catchy chant to outshine the Hang Mike Pence It was 1988 and the then-vice president, George H. W. Bush, was on a routine visit to Idaho. He was supposed to give a dry speech on agricultural policy and praise his successes alongside President Reagan, live on television. Then he said: “We’ve had triumphs. Made some mistakes. We’ve had some sex... uh... setbacks https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20160706-what-freudian-slips-really-reveal-about-your-mind
