Since you say “ I am going to file I-485..” I will assume you came in to US very recently… Is your husband refusing to help you file ? ( as in pay USCS filing fee, sign I-864 and give his tax returns and financials…?) Is your relationship/ marriage in trouble ( ex USC wants to send you back to home country) ..or are you just worried? If you have not filed the I-485 yet and husband wants out of the marriage already, he can still contact/write USCIS and withdraw his I-129 F , tell them marriage won’t survive ….maybe claim he was used for a green card or other such stories. So are you still living together ? Is husband threatening divorce? When did your I-94 expire? Most importantly, did you already prepare the I-485 packet and send it out?

I would guess this closing argument in trial of one prominent demonstrator..is is one source that points to a bit more: Trump is to blame for Jan. 6 riot, Proud Boys leader’s lawyer says In his closing argument, defense lawyer Nayib Hassan noted Tarrio wasn’t in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, having been banned from the capital after being arrested on allegations that he defaced a Black Lives Matter banner. Trump, Hassan argued, was the one to blame for exhorting a crowd outside the White House to “ fight like hell.” https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2023-04-25/trump-is-to-blame-for-jan-6-riot-proud-boys-leaders-lawyer-says

Some Republicans react to upcoming criminal charges : Pence says Trump conduct around 2021 Capitol attack was reckless but not criminal criminal. "While his words were reckless, based on what I know, I am not yet convinced that they were criminal," Pence told CNN's "State of the Union." https://www.reuters.com/world/us/pence-says-trump-conduct-around-2021-capitol-attack-was-reckless-not-criminal-2023-07-23/

May I ask , are you seeking more content policing or taking issue and educating ALL frequent posters on Be Better/Be Best etiquette? -

I am not of much help there, as I perceive the issue here is that OP is satisfied to do more reporting of posts. I see that as even more mod filtered censorship..so it’s pretty black and white. Yes, CHEST posts currently reflect only half of this nations views/ media ( crass and objectionable to the other half ) ..but no one from the other half bothers to simply post threads Am impressed by the writing and expressive skills of the 7 or so members supporting OP, and hope to see them more often. As @Redro put it Be the Change You Want to See…..in lieu of more censorship or running to the principals office 😂 -

This may be the Male perspective, but I assumed that was to do with his wife, she seems the one in charge. In the first episodes he shared that as a child he was “ hurt” by a person /adult in a position of trust ..though he did not name clergy ..that was a major reason to change faith. -

Here is link to I-864 W and instructions..read and get familiar w it. Simply put, you made a mistake doing I-864 as both you ( principal ) and your child ( derivative) of I-360 VAWA are exempt ( excused ) from I-864 obligations. Not a big deal, just do the form and mark 1.d on page 2. Your child is applying for visa based on your approved VAWA, that is why her age is frozen and will not age out. Category is fine ( u were the abused spouse of USC.. https://www.uscis.gov/i-864w -

The FL Judge , a Trump appointee , decided on the May, 2024 trial date. .so I would say defense scored a little win here …mild setback for Our Hero Jack....I anticipate a slew of such delays ahead Cannon cited the the extensive evidence presented in the caseas one of the reasons she pushed the start date to next year. This evidence includes "more than 1.1 million pages of non-classified discovery produced thus far (some unknown quantity of which is described by the Government as "non-content"), at least nine months of camera footage (with disputes about pertinent footage), at least 1,545 pages of classified discovery ready to be produced (with more to follow), plus additional content from electronic devices and other sources yet to be turned over," Cannon wrote in her order. https://www.npr.org/2023/07/21/1188280400/things-to-know-donald-trump-classified-documents-trial

Agreed, wouldn't wanna DM someone who probably doesn't wanna hear it. Reporting seems safest As you wish..though you must realize it invites even more censorship. My position on censorship is Musk-ish: none required. Nor do I believe any OP needs protecting..even sniper like ( perceived ( negative comments ( bad attitude) actually help one prepare for the unspoken , human -like thoughts . .of immigration officers 😂 -

I would just want people to be more courteous. What mod action I see. There is only a handful of frequent posters , perhaps you can DM them and point out the needed Attitude Adjustment. When such comments are made directly in a thread ..mods will usually censure/delete them..so it’s not effective to simply call someone out in a post. -

Are you implying mods should censure more….content or ban bad attitude posters ? -
File for divorce. You do not need his permission. Agreed. File and get him served with divorce papers. Your green card will survive no matter if it ends up a quick default ( he does not respond by choice) or a drawn out contested “ vengeful” affair. You are not under any obligation to notify USCIS until divorce is final…or you are face to face at an interview for the N-400 . For more details look to @cocoVA recent post , she has covered all 50 shades of worries😂 w impressive research and questions. Hire family law attorney for divorce and immigration lawyer for this if you cannot DIY..not clear what your topic question was, nut hope this helps

We two agree here that impeachment #1 was for Trump looking for “dirt” on Biden..and of course asking foreign country to interfere…since he did not manage to dig up anything. ..actions were deemed worthy of impeachment. The what if’s of post probe / process align with repeated MAGA conspiracy theories bandied about. As old saying goes , “ If Auntie had b a l l s, she’d be Uncle”😂

A gun-less coup attempt.....only in the minds of people so blinded by hate for Trump that they have literally lost their minds and all sense of logic, reason, and justice....literally. Trump never organized or condoned the protest that day......unlike what the dems (including Harris) did during the Antifa/BLM riots...... Not sure why there is so much walking back of what the Jan 6 demonstrators wanted to do: stop the assembled Congress ( our lawmakers) from transferring power. I doubt Hang Mike Pence was a little harmless humor. Historically these two headlines pretty much read the same.

No. Just hang on and wait. Do you have 30 days or 87 days ? The first one was sent to the Wrong Address by your attorney. -
Perhaps attorney is right..and no reason to worry. If marriage is real , there will be a Happy Ending no matter a pesky RFE / NOID. A double master ( presumably good looking ) Indian professional is more likely to marry a well suited match ( Hindu or Muslim)….made by an Auntie 😂..hence the scrutiny…

Trump impeachment #1 for Abuse of Power and messing with Congress , was of course a political move . All impeachments are by definition political means of checks/balance at disposal of both parties. impeachment #2 was for Jan 6 “Peaceful Hang Mike Pence” He survived both and will shortly have them “expunged” 😂by his party https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_impeachment_of_Dona conviction) Trump–Ukraine scandal A request by U.S. President Donald Trump(right) to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (left) to investigate Joe Biden and his son sparked the scandal. Events People Companies Conspiracy theories v t e The first impeachment trial of Donald Trump, the president of the United States from 2017 to 2021, began on December 18, 2019, during the 116th United States Congress. The House of Representatives adopted two articles of impeachment against Trump: abuse of powerand obstruction of Congress. Trump was acquitted by the Senate on February 5, 2020.[2] Trump's impeachment came after a formal House inquiryfound that he had solicited foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election to help his re-election bidand then obstructed the inquiry itself by telling his administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony. The inquiry reported that Trump withheld military aid[a] and an invitation to the White House to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in order to influence Ukraine to announce an investigation into Trump's political opponent Joe Bidenand to promote a discredited conspiracy theory that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind interference in the 2016 presidential election. A phone call between Trump and Zelenskyy on July 25, 2019 was particularly important according to Congressional testimony from Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a member of the National Security Council who listened to the call from the White House Situation Room.[4][5] The inquiry stage of Trump's impeachment lasted from September to November 2019 in the wake of Vindman's August whistleblower complaint alleging Trump's abuse of power.[4] In October, three congressional committees (Intelligence, Oversight, and Foreign Affairs) deposed witnesses. In November, the House Intelligence Committee held a number of public hearings in which witnesses testified publicly; on December 3, the committee voted 13–9 along party lines to adopt a final report. The total number of witnesses testifying either publicly or in closed door sessions was 17. A set of impeachment hearings before the House Judiciary Committee began on December 4; on December 13, it voted 23–17 along party lines to recommend two articles of impeachment for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The committee released a lengthy report on the impeachment articles on December 16. Two days later, the full House approved both articles in a mostly party-line vote, with all Republicans opposing, along with three Democrats. This made Trump the third U.S. president in history to be impeached and marked the first fully partisan impeachment where a U.S. president was impeached without support for the impeachment from the President's own party. The articles were submitted to the Senate on January 16, 2020, initiating the trial. The trial saw no witnesses or documents being subpoenaed, as Republican senators rejected attempts to introduce subpoenas. On February 5, Trump was acquitted on both counts by the Senate, as neither count received 67 votes to convict. On Article I, abuse of power, the vote was 48 for conviction, 52 for acquittal. On Article II, obstruction of Congress, the vote was 47 for conviction, 53 for acquittal. Republican Mitt Romney, the only senator to break party lines, became the first U.S. senator to vote to convict a president of his own party in an impeachment trial, as he voted for conviction on abuse of power.[6] Trump remained in office for the remainder of his term. Two days after the acquittal, Trump fired two witnesses who had testified about his conduct in the impeachment inquiry: Ambassador Gordon Sondland and Alexander Vindman,[7]together with Vindman's twin brother Yevgeny.[7] On June 23, 2023, Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthysaid that he supported an effort to hold a vote "expunging" both impeachments of Trump.[8]

Good observation that the Officers “flow “ can be at times diverted…if either attorney or one of the spouses thinks fast on their feet . Example: when ISO asked husband why he married such a broke wife, he would say smiling “ But Sir, look at her, she’s drop dead gorgeous!” followed by “ fell head over heals in love ..then “ in my culture it’s man’s job to make $ and woman’s to make man happy..”

I believe I have been very careful at not defending criminal acts. If the evidence supports the conclusion that what DJT did was indeed criminal, he should be prosecuted accordingly. What I will defend is his right to equal process under the law, which it is quite evident has not been and will not be afforded him. if he is to be prosecuted, then make it a clean prosecution, not driven by hyper-partisan political grandstanding and questionable ethical and moral practices, as has been the whole drive to prosecute him for something, anything, thus far. I think his base accepts that he was just found guilty of sexual assault and doesn’t bat an eye at the fact that he raped a woman.. And let’s not beat around the bush, Jan 6 was a failed coup He didn’t get enough support to see it through ( military declined martial law , in house resistance from Pence and others). Play stupid games, win stupid prizes…and take your chances finding like minded jury peers. Judge in E. Jean Carroll Case: Yes, Donald Trump Is a Rapist But Judge Lewis Kaplan called Trump’s semantic argument “entirely unpersuasive.” He clarified that the jury found that the former president did indeed “rape” Carroll https://newrepublic.com/post/174448/judge-e-jean-carroll-case-yes-donald-trump-rapist Potential jurors share strong feelings about Trump ahead of trial over Michael Cohen’s legal fees https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-michael-cohen-lawsuit-millions-legal-fees-ec05ea69298cc4567e94c48b886e7628 Then the judge asked the assembled group, all New Yorkers, whether they had strong opinions about former President Donald Trump or his family members. A few people snickered. More than half raised their hands Did we get everyone?” Judge Cohen asked as he tallied the responses. “I feel like an auctioneer here.”

When they separate the spouses it means they conducted a Stokes interview ( suspected fraud) ..quite clear also from the type of detailed questions. The USC petitioner /wife did NOT do well at all: did not know exact rent $ , was fuzzy on household expenses, did not know type of car husband drives and couldn’t remember first encounter with husband. Your friend ( if F-1 past) is degreed so BIG education gap between them. There was nothing attorney could have done . Other than listen and get a sense of what she will face . Your fried will get a NOID …but I doubt it will be anytime soon. They will likely refer to FDNS ( fraud unit) and schedule on site visit to their home / work….nothing will happen fast and nothing your friend ( or new attorney): can do to speed it up. Because it was a Stokes interview and it went poorly, there was no need to conduct N-400.

Trump Receives Target Letter In January 6th Investigation PublishedYesterday Former President Donald Trump received a letter informing him that he is a target of the Justice Department’s investigation into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. What do you think? “It’s suspicious that they already had his address.” SEYMOUR BIDDLE, MEDICAL EXAMINER “Opening and reading a letter sounds like something Donald Trump would do, sure.” ROSE NICHOLS, VOLUNTEER RECRUITER https://www.theonion.com/trump-receives-target-letter-in-january-6th-investigati-1850656867

Ok,,perhaps a little Clark Kent, then 😂 He has gone after Democrats and Republicans alike, headed a nice sounding public integrity division and has lived outside the US since 2018. https://www.kcra.com/article/who-is-jack-smith-special-counsel-trump-investigations/42008551 Smith oversaw corruption cases as chief of the Justice Department's public integrity unit from 2010 to 2015. Smith was the head of the section when the department failed to convict former senator and vice-presidential candidate John Edwards, a Democrat, in a corruption case in 2012 and when then-Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, a Republican, was indicted in 2014. He also oversaw the investigation into former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, a Republican, closing the probe in 2010 without bringing charges. Smith would go on to serve as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, taking over as acting U.S. attorney in early 2017. He became vice president of litigation for the Hospital Corporation of America later that year. In recent years, Smith lived outside of the United States as the chief prosecutor for the special court in The Hague, a role he assumed in 2018 in which he investigated war crimes in Kosovo.
