  4. Takeaways from the Supreme Court’s arguments over using the obstruction charge against Capitol rioters Traumatic day boils down to technical argument Mostly absent from oral arguments Tuesday was recognition of the traumatic and deadly events that took place just across the street from the Supreme Court three years ago. Instead, the discussion turned largely on a technical debate about the meaning of the words in the law – in particular, the word “otherwise.” https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/politics/live-news/supreme-court-jan-6-riot-case-04-16-24

  6. You could use industry to verify crypto currency assets. ..which appear to be Statement of Account and a link so asset can be verified. ..don’t think a screenshot would suffice. Since you are likely the officers first encounter, include big name companies standards . World is changing ..

  8. Trump appears to be sleeping. His head keeps dropping down and his mouth goes slack,” New York Times reporterSleepy The observation quickly inspired a new nickname for the 77-year-old former president: “Sleepy Don.” https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-hush-money-sleepy-don-b2529108.htmlDon’: Trump sparks Twitter hilarity as he appears to fall asleep at trial His ‘Sleepy Joe’ nickname for his rival seems to have come full circle, with social media users now calling Mr Trump ‘Sleepy Don’
  9. Looks like things are moving along … The first prospective juror said she works in business development, is married to a venture capitalist and enjoys restaurants. She said she gets her news from the New York Times, CNN and the podcasts UpFirst and the Daily. Most of the 42 questions are yes or no, and her answers indicated that she’s not politically active and didn’t see any reasons she couldn’t be fair. The second prospective juror is a man from Midtown Manhattan who has worked as a creative director for more than 30 years, including at Lands’ End and Kenneth Cole. He said he reads the New York Times, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal and does not listen to podcasts. He has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, no children and enjoys hiking, cooking and playing with his dog. He doesn’t follow Trump on social media and has not been to pro-Trump rallies or anti-Trump events. He said he could be impartial. The third potential juror was excused after she answered yes to “Do you have any strong opinions or firmly held beliefs about former president Donald Trump, or the fact that he is a current candidate for president that would interfere with your ability to be a fair and impartial juror?” The parties conferred with the judge before excusing her. The juror described herself as a three-year Harlem resident who recently started at Bloomingdale’s after working a “performance job”; in her free time she said she liked to sing, watch TV, go shopping and “go to the club.” After walking out, she told a police officer, “I just couldn’t do it.” The fourth prospective juror is a woman who is originally from Pennsylvania and has lived in New York City for years. She works for a New York City government agency in marketing and communications. She gets her news from the New York Times, CNN and Google News. She has not read any books written by Trump but said she could be impartial. Source Washington Post
  10. ‘Dimbulb’ Trump Torched After Rambling Attempt To Explain Gettysburg Goes Wrong Donald Trump’s attempt to explain the Battle of Gettysburg took some strange verbal detours ― and his critics were quick to call him out over it. “Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was. The Battle of Gettysburg,” the former president said at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. “What an unbelievable ― I mean, it was so much and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways.” Gettysburg. Wow. I go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to look and to watch. And the statement of Robert E. Lee ― who’s no longer in favor, did you ever notice that? No longer in favor ― ‘Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.’ They were fighting uphill. He said, ‘Wow, that was a big mistake.’ He lost his great general, and they were fighting. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys!’ But it was too late.” source : straight from the horse’s mouth ..yahoo news
  11. You can only do I-130 /I-485 with concurent I-601 hardship to USCIS if Petitioner/Spouse is a USC . I would take that route if available. Otherwise you need J-1 waiver first and can only file I-130
  12. Excerpt From @Boiler link …Dang! Ayatollah is all up on x Twitter now? Shocking "Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus," the mission’s statement, posted on social media platform X, states. "The matter can be deemed concluded," the mission argued. "However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!"
  13. Apple hit with ‘mercenary spyware attacks’ — iPhone users warned worldwide of ‘most advanced digital threats’ Parent company Apple warned targeted users in an email that hackers aimed to “remotely compromise the iPhone” and updated its guidanceabout these cases of highly sophisticated device infiltration Wednesday. 14. Criminal Defendants are required to sit and shush….but there will be cheering fans , somewhere https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g9HmV_-EE8g&t=561s Former NY prosecutor on Trump hush money trial: ‘He’s going to have to sit there’ https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4592206-former-ny-prosecutor-on-trump-hush-money-trial/
  15. This is the proof of service required, nothing else goes with it
  16. I just realized you have not contacted USCIS nor Congressman. Poking the bear is often effective to bring attention to old paper ( non digital) cases stuck in the black hole. YOU should do both on your own. Call and USCIS, ask for tier 2 and try either an expedite or service request. Look up your congressman and email authorization
  17. You can also FOIA the DOS ( dept of state)…for any /all visa records. Reach out to Congressional Liason and see if they can get some response on the reasons behind CDJs decision to seek revocation. You can keep a steady email inquiry w CDJ , in case they respond .
  18. The typo/error /missing letter in I-129F is not the issue, so do not put focus on it. The DOB question at reception is odd …almost as if they had a second profile for her. What were the word for word questions she was asked during the interview? Did she ever apply for a visitor visa before? Is her son over 18?
  19. It also happens to Iranians as well , as the translation come through with headings of ‘identity ‘document . ‘I don’t fault OPs attorney as it is one of those rare occurrences but I do hope they take a strong position on most effective solution and I-290B filing. All online document translation services actually guarantee USCIS compliance /standards , approx $20 a page
  20. The simple solution is to get a new translation, try a fast online service , with the asked for headings. File I-290 B , you will win. You would have faced the same RFE issue even without an attorney, so grin and bear it but rest assured you will prevail. There is no need to get a Korean attorney to authenticate the documents.
  21. I say DIY the WOM. Plenty of recent success stories from VJ posters , all of whom offered to help . ..you will get a lot of bang for the $400 cost of filing .
  22. Here is proper link to the case . In Short she won a WOM then motioned for attorney fees . Government fought back but hats off to Margaret Stock for a big win. ..apparently I can link from iPhone so I must have boomer-ed my iPad 😂 https://casetext.com/case/pulatov-v-us-citizenship-immigration-servs Plaintiff's motion for attorney's fees [19] is granted.
