  1. Ethnicity Not Hispanic or Latino Hispanic or Latino Race Select all that apply White Asian Black or African American American Indian or Alaska Native Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander I’m Arab. (Half North African/half middle eastern (Levant) what am I supposed to choose? Am I supposed to check “black” because my country is in North Africa? Am I supposed to check “Asian” because my other country is in southwestern Asia? can I leave this blank?
  2. Ryan and Stephanie came to mind.😆 He isn’t getting a tourist visa with no job and even if he did have a job,he has strong ties to USA through you and his other family and also he was denied already so unless something major changes the outcome will still be the same. the invitation letter hurts his chances more than anything. only way he is coming to USA is through a k1,spouse visa, job or DV or any other option but just not tourist.
  3. Absolutely true. Apply! go for it,it will change your whole life/career. Lots of people have relatives in USA and are approved for F visas.it’s not a problem.
  4. OP said he will apply from UAE didn’t say he was from UAE. #3 is false.
  5. Not true. someone got “visa is approved” but it went to administrative processing for two months then the visa got denied.
  6. From boundless: What Does “Certified” Mean? Don’t panic! Although the government requires a translated document to be “certified,” it does not require the person performing the translation to be officially credentialed in translation services. In other words, the translator doesn’t need to be a professional, just competent in English and the foreign language in which your document was originally written. For a document to be considered “certified,” the person who translated it into English must write a formal letter stating that they: Are qualified to translate the document because they are competent in both English and the document’s original language. Translated the document accurately and completely to the best of their abilities. In addition, the letter must include the following information about the translator: Full name Address Signature Date they wrote the letter You must submit this certification letter with the translations and photocopies of the untranslated documents. Sample certification letter Certification by Translator I, [full name], certify that I am [fluent or conversant] in English and [foreign language], and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the enclosed document titled [name of document].
  7. I went through this.I went through the courts to correct my last name so it will match on all my of my official documents. took around two months to fix.
  8. Ah man this sucks a lot. should have and waited for the us embassy in Kuwait to reopen the visas because they are very generous when it comes to handing b2 visas for foreign spouses of US citizens (Me and many others that I know). not helpful I know but I don’t think you can come over a denial of that sort.
  9. It was back to the line for me too.unfortunately

  15. She will get the visa easily. I recently got a multi entry B visa WITH a pending immigration case. I don’t have a job either and on my application I state that my husband will be funding the trip. I got many B visas to USA over the last 10 years with no ties to my country (well other than my husband and kids) what so ever and I was granted a visa solely based on my marriage to my American husband.
  16. Oh man i got confused 😁 I feel silly now I should have googled it before I started a topic lol. thank you for clarifying everyone 🌸
  17. While logged in to ceac I noticed it says visa class IR1 but I have been married more than 2 years. does it matter what it says on there? Should I contact anyone to change it? shouldn’t it say CR1
