Marisa and I have just a little over 2 weeks left before she has to return to Argentina and I to the U.S.  Never would I have imagined that we would be waiting over 300 days and part ways at the end of February without any an answer on our application!!!!  Really unbelievable to me that our immigration agency is so dysfunctional!!!

And irony is All the dependent visa - meaning spouse of H1, students Visa or any temporary visa can get approval in few weeks or a month. And being the fiancé or fiancée of US citizens - you are the last- not sure what to say here 🤔

@cuongvt101 the best advice I can give you to be there when she interviews at HCMC
 

There is no way to know, and they are not dispatched to the centers based on where you live.

That's what she is doing now on her tourist visa. That's okay from what I understand. It's like working while you're on vacation in a foreign country. 
When she comes back on the k1 visa I was wondering if she could do the same job. Apparently she cannot work at all, no matter what until she gets work authorization. 

So just go with K1 if that’s what you want. Nobody said every K1 is denied. We’re just giving you possibilities of outcomes and realistic expectations. Some consulates are more difficult than others, including Vietnam. Bottom line is there’s no faster alternatives, all of us had to wait extended period of time to be reunited with our significant others. 
 

That's good to know, thanks. I didn't pay attention to that fact, but we'll try anyway. I assume failing a B2 visa doesn't affect our K1 case
