Hi guys. Quick question to those who have attended the interview. Did they ask for original copies of documents submitted?
The officer didn’t ask me for originals but I still bring my marriage and children birth certificates. She only asked me for green card and passport.

Hello everyone,
I am glad to report that I passed my interview this morning. The officer was very pleasant. We chatted throughout the interview. She asked me 6 questions: What is the highest court of the US? What is one promise you make when you become a citizen? Who was Martin Luther King, jr? Who is the commander of chief of the military? What is capital of the US? Name one senator from New York, Then she asked to write that The president lives in the White House. She said I will receive the oath letter within 2 weeks. My journey to become a US citizen is almost over.

Good news!!!!
My journey is coming to an end! The USCIS sent me a letter on June 13th, 2022 with an interview date. I don’t have the date yet because I don’t remember the password to my online account. I should receive the physical letter on Friday (June 17) or Saturday (June 18). I will keep you posted with the actual date once I receive the letter. I am in NYC and I applied on November 18, 2021 based on 5 years rule. I submitted the application online.

Hello fellow November 2021 fillers,
Today (04-18-2022) makes it 150 days since USCIS is processing my application. Unfortunately, I haven’t received an interview date yet. Every time I checked the status the message is still showing “our records show nothing is outstanding at this time”. I am in NYC is there anyone who applied in November 2021 from NYC area who receive their interview letter yet?

Install the USCIS case app on your phone. You can give it your case # and it will keep checking for your cases every few hours and immediately send you an alert if there is an update to your case. That will prevent the painful process of constantly checking and getting disappointed.
Also did you check this forum's case tracker for NYC USCIS office? https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=New+York+City+NY&op1=6&op2=&op4=1&op5=&cfl=0The most recent N400 cases are taking 12 months since date of filing to be approved. Some cases are are being approved 6 months after filing N400 but that's because USCIS is holding I-751 and N400 interviews combined and the I-751 was probably applied > 12 months before the interview.
If you don't have an older I-751 pending, do not get your hopes high atleast until you cross the 8 month mark.Thank you for this info! I downloaded it an app call lawfully so I don’t have to constantly check for updates. I checked the forum tracker as well I notice a few people who have the same timeline as me already had their interviews. Hopefully, next month I’ll get an update.

Did you receive N400 application receipt on mail or e-copy yet?
Yes, I received both. The email I received it the same day. The mail copy and biometric reuse I received it within a week.

It’s been 30 days since USCIS received my n400 application. So far, the status says “nothing is outstanding”. I know that living in nyc my application will take longer but I’m waiting patiently.
