  1. https://www.alberta.ca/ahcip-absence-from-alberta.aspx - In Alberta sounds like we have to contact them to let them know you are moving.
  2. Not at all. I've been DQ'd since July 2021 and still waiting for an interview. The premium processing is just for USCIS to approve/deny the I-140 quicker. The fee was around $2500 plus the filing fee of $700.
  3. I used premium processing for my I-140 for my EB-1. What info were you looking for?
  4. Yes, everything been e-mailed and then also sent in the mail. We also have an attorney on file, so one way or another we'll get what we need. I do have mail forwarded from our last address to our new one. I just wanted to make sure it was all current.
  5. No my current address. We recently moved, but I have no idea how to change it and everything I have tried is for someone already living in the US or a resident alien. I tried to update my USCIS account as well and no luck. Not really sure how else this can be done. I tried "Ask Emma" but no luck either.
  6. I have submitted a request for the NVC to change my address. USCIS unfortunately is not the same and I don't think changing/updating it at the interview will trigger a change with them.
  7. Does anyone know how to change their address with USCIS? I have tried online and had no luck as it seems to only be for those living in the US already.
  8. I asked my lawyer this question Monday as I have I-140s approved for both EB-1 and EB-2 NIW. He was not aware of any priority/preference being given. Looks like they just got lucky was all.
  9. Just out of curiosity, is there a place for us to mention we have a job offer in the US when we send in our package to the NVC? I don't recall this, but if that's the case I'd be happy to send one in.
  10. We are just waiting for a job offer as I'm currently a contractor for the company not an employee. If they aren't willing to go for the O1-A we are going to file the lawsuit.
  11. We are in a holding pattern at the moment. Might be going the O1-A route. We cannot have a lawsuit and apply for the O1-A at the same time, so waiting to see what happens this week.
  12. Currently I am self employed, so unable to apply for 01A without someone wanting to hire me as a full time employee. My lawyer also said that the O1A could be denied since the I-140 has been approved since the 01A is not designed to get a green card.
  13. No response to our 30 day notice of intent. We are filing mandamus tomorrow. I was DQ in early July 2022. Our lawyer is $6,000.
  14. @F2J_March Nothing. They have 11 days to respond to the notice. The lawsuit is ready to go for first thing on the 18th.
  15. @CanadianMDAre there any issues with this as the O1-A is not designed as a dual intent visa? I would also qualify as I have already proved this with the I-140 as well.
  16. My lawyer filed a notice of intent to file a mandamus lawsuit a week ago. She has given them 30 days or we move forward with the lawsuit. Nothing so far besides the generic "we are busy" e-mail from Montreal. I'm not holding my breath they will respond to the notice of intent.
  17. We are filing the notice of intent on Monday, which gives them 30 days to respond from what I understand.
  18. Awesome! She is very enthusiastic, which is so refreshing. I will keep everyone posted on my progress or at least as much as I can share. I am hoping there is some good news sometime in July!
  19. Reach out to Sarah...I don't know if there is a DQ date she had in mind at all as interviews don't have any hard and fast rules as to when they are required to provide an interview date by. Instead, it's more or less scheduling them in a reasonable amount of time.
  20. Okay slight change in plan...Sarah feels that it would be best if we all did our own mandamus suit after we chatted again this evening since everyone will be a bit different. Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up! She is going to start by filing a notice of intent to file on my behalf and giving Montreal 30 days to respond to her notice. If they do not respond, she is going to them file the mandamus. She is happy to file a notice of intent to file for anyone else who is interested, but they must be willing to follow through with the mandamus suit. She also said everyone else is welcome to wait and see what happens with mine before they decide what to do. She is also happy to send e-mails to the consulate to start building a case...she has e-mailed them multiple times about my case and has received no response. The mandamus is $5000 - 6000 flat rate, but if there are several of us doing this, the rate will go down as she will be able to more or less use the same template. She does not charge for the e-mails to the consulate or for the notice of intent. I have given her my go ahead. If anyone wants Sarah's assistance her e-mail is sr@ramalaweu.com.
  21. I am unsure, I will find out or maybe run this by your lawyer for their thoughts. I have two lawyers as the one only files I-140s. Both know each other well though. All I did was complete form G-28 to add Ms. Rama as legal representation on my file. The lawyer that filed the I-140 is still receiving the 60 day notices from NVC.
