  1. I suppose that in the grand scheme of things, running out of visas this fiscal isn't the end of the world since the annual resets on Oct. 1?
  2. I echo this. I have so incredibly valued your contributions and so many others on this forum would agree, so thanks and congratulations, @Froozion!
  3. I have the same question. I'm EB-1 and am self-employed, so I applied with letters of interest, contracts, etc. As EB-1 doesn't require an offer letter, I wasn't planning on bringing one.
  4. What kinds of questions did they ask? Anything unexpected? Approved or AP?
  5. My PD is August 2023, DQ October 2023 - EB-1 ROW: Would it be worthwhile to get ahead of my vaccinations and get a new police report now? Or is that overambitious? I'm assuming I can't schedule a medical until I get an appointment?
  6. Congrats! What was your DQ date? I guess maybe another batch went out today?

  8. Please don't forget to update your timelines in the Google Sheets so we can all keep track of communal progress.
  9. Whoa, DQ May!? They are making progress!
  10. What a delight to see. So as far as we know they’re as far as March 2023 now? I’m still patiently waiting DQ October 2023.
  11. But what about if EB-3 is no longer current because of retrogression, but EB-1 is still current? Do they not send ILs to EB-1 while EB-3s wait for their date to become current? I ask because I'm EB-1 and am concerned that the EB-3 regression might affect me even though my PD is current.
  12. What about EB-1A? I know I didn't require an employment letter for the petition, but what about at the interview? Will they ask?
  13. I'm EB-1A and had two work contracts through 2024 when I thought I'd be in the U.S. by then. By the time I get my interview, those contracts will have lapsed. Is it important for EB-1A to have new employment offers that weren't in the original petition when I first applied for my I-140? I have the intention to work, but I don't have any contracts for 2025 yet. At this rate, I probably won't be in the U.S. until then. DQ is Oct. 2023.
  14. I’m EB1 PD Aug. 2023, DQ Oct. 2023. Also hoping this progress is a good sign. Would love to have a date before the end of the year.
  15. Great news, congrats! So I suppose it's safe to say Montreal has moved up to September 2022.
  16. Was your DQ date still September 2022? If so, that's great news - We might still be on track with 2 months of backlog per month of processing right now.
