Hopefully any day now, right?
 
Last batch was three weeks ago TONIGHT. They, quite incredibly, cleared end of January through to mid-March DQs. Final interview for that batch (for people on here, at least) is the 23rd. So they'd need to send out the next batch for interviews happening in two weeks and onward this week otherwise not enough time for medicals.
 
Hoping next batch covers a similar 7-week DQ time frame (mid-March to, what, early-May?). Hope you get in that batch and your interview is September, not October!!
 
Then hopefully rest of May and June DQs for late September and October interviews.
 
We are all getting there. HOPING they follow the same timelines and schedule appointments this week!!!

Evening All! Finally approved after 3 years in the process. Very emotional day and hopefully assuming the passport arrives in the next 2 weeks, in 3 I shall be starting life in the US with my wife finally!
 
Thank you to ALL of the help, support and general chit chat in not only the forum but also this thread. I've uploaded a full review, relatively painless and anti-climactic (other than of course the visa bit) after all the other hoops we have to get through. 
 
Keep persevering and although the waiting is bloody awful, it's worth it!

Late March/April/maybe May DQs will have to receive interview appointments this week (or next at the latest) if things are going to continue at the current pace. Nothing scheduled from Aug 23 (for VJ'ers, at least) and those DQs will need medicals soon. Anyone with a DQ from mid-March onwards showing 'in transit' on CEAC?
 
Let's hope to hear something by the end of the week!  Will be amazing if they continue at this speed. Still hoping they can clear most of the backlog by end of September.

My parents were able to get in for a medical within a few days - they received the email on 13th July stating their interview would be on the 3rd August. They called the medical place and were even offered a slot the next day so hopefully it should be ok for everyone. 

My interview went smoothly! Here are the questions I got asked for anyone curious
 
- Did we get married online or in person?
- Where? 
- How long have I known her?
- How many times have I visited her?
- How many times has she visited me?
- Is this my first marriage?
- Is this her first marriage?
- Any kids?
- Any kids from previous relationships?
- Are you going to be moving to Utah?
- When do you want to move there?

Same here. DQ may 26 so fingers crossed to be in the September slots but most likely to be on the October one since it’s more close to June . Anyway happy to see things moving 

Thinking logically, the appointments could be scheduled en masse the middle of the month and then any slots that are freed by people rescheduling for later would then be processed.  Hence a few getting 2-3 weeks notice rather than 4-5.  Just a thought.
 
Glad to hear they are getting through the backlog.  Fingers crossed mine comes in soon.  I really hope I get some good news the middle of August but DQ in June so I might still have some waiting to do.

2 years since I applied, though I had delays during COVID with tax returns, criminal checks etc. Any day now...

Over a year after applying, this morning got my visa approved at the embassy! So happy! Just so you know, it's very busy and they're pretty efficient at getting people seen- I'm positive there will be even more appointments available soon!

You made me go and check! We have an attorney that handled our NVC stuff so I can't tell you if it changed to that recently as I haven't logged on since before we submitted... but ours says that too! Dare we get excited too quickly?! 😅 Just threeish weeks to the middle of August!

Not necessarily. They used to give a 4-6 week notice  for interviews but many here have interviews scheduled for first week of August and only received notification last Tuesday. So that's about 2 weeks notice. Plus I don't think they've ever scheduled so many CR1/IR1s in such a short time frame. (End of Jan to mid-March DQs in the first three weeks of Aug). So I don't think we can rely on old trends any more.
 
They are definitely moving, and almost certainly prioritising spouse visas.
 
Apart from the 23rd Aug, no one here has an appointment for that week. So those final days in Aug might still be available for appointments and we'd have to hear about those soon. That takes us into Sept...
 
I still have faith they can interview April/May DQs in September. They've done it for late Jan to mid-March in August so why not?. Yes it's hope but it keeps me positive.
 
Also, I noticed yesterday my CEAC now says 'Foreign state of chargeability: Great Britain and Northern Ireland' which I'm almost certain it didn't say last week. Maybe it's always been on all of yours but 100 percent not on mine. That suggests the system is automating something. At least there's movement. May DQ here

Looks like I miswrote my message and Put 'late Feb' when I meant 'late March', oops! But I sincerely hope you're right! I am used to being slightly more conservative with guesstimating 'just in case'. But September would be absolutely awesome. As we were both early May, (7th?) hopefully that's us. But I won't be too mad if I get one in early October. I'll take what I'm given at this rate! Best of luck to all other Spring DQers ❤️

Just checked all these amazing updates! Congratulations to absolutely everyone!! Fingers crossed this trend continues...Hopefully late Feb and April people get interviews early-mid Sept and May people late Sept into October! Doing a dance on behalf of everyone this is awesome. Also puts to rest the pesky rumours about closures from the K1 lawsuit folks!
