These days we have emails, facebook, twitter, message boards and all sorts of ways people can be bullied these days. You used to be able to somewhat leave the bullying at school but nowadays, you come home and you see it on your computer too. My cousin was bullied and there was actually a group dedicated to hating her on facebook. It was reported and it took about 3 weeks to have it taken down. During that time anyone and everyone at her school could access it. It's like having a permanent bathroom wall... rumours aren't just written with a sharpie on a stall anymore... they're on the internet for everyone to see and read.

I got a credit card by writing a letter to Capital One and explaining my intent and my reasons for wanting a card which is to establish credit in the US. About 6 weeks later I did receive a card in the mail, so if you're having troubles you could always try pleading your case. It worked for me.

I went casual. Wore capris and my converse top.
I treated it like they were interviewing me because they wanted to add awesome to America.

Short of wearing something offensive - I think it makes absolutely zero difference. They have already made their decision (98%) before you appear.
Now if you have some great information to add at the interview, that can make a difference - but even then, they already know what they are going to ask of you and ask you before you get there.
I doubt what jeans you wear are on the list

Yea my husbands family will go to a wedding even if they don't like someone. They'll complain all the way, and get up and leave early and then complain afterwards, judging everyone who was there... I really don't get that. If I don't like someone, I won't go. Why go and be miserable? I can't put on that fake front of "Aww I'm so happy for you" if I'm not.
I went to his cousins wedding, and him and his family don't get along with them too much. I wasn't really in the loop on all the drama as it had been going for years before I was in the picture. Well when it came time to leave, none of them even said goodbye to his new wife. I just thought was really petty. She didn't do anything to them. Then they went on about how fat she was. I just thought... why did you guys even show up? I guess it "looks" good, but as an observer, I was kind of floored at the things that were said at our table.
And I imagine the same things were said at our wedding by his cousin and his family, because that's what they do, they bicker back and forth, and they left our wedding early too. Like going to these weddings was a chore for both parties. Lame. Drink, dance and have a great time. Leave the drama at the door.

Seriously, someone posted the song Hey There Delilah by the plain white tees? I'd rather get stabbed in the eardrum than listen to that song. That band should be sent to prison for their crimes against society.

I just want to profess my love of chocolate covered pretzels. That is all.

At work now, and off to Saskatoon later on today, fly out of Dulles at noon! Fly to Mtl, then to ottawa then arrive in Stoon around 2030!! Dont recall if Mtl airport has a Tims, or if Ottawa does, but sure hope so!! lol

I don't know what's funnier asking her to have her husband hire someone to drive her around or picturing lgg in a shopping mall...
I think its all beside the point, she was merely venting as we all have at some point in this process. It really does try every single ounce of our patience.

Personally, I've yet to find a thread where, if someone had given poor advice, they weren't called out or corrected. So really, I don't see why ranking is necessary at all.
