  1. Adorable kitties!

  2. Hey, it says you cannot receive messages, can you PM me please?  NO hurry/ nothing bad!

  3. There is no way of tellling how long that is- could be a month, could be half a year. I think it is a good sign they kept your passport, hopefully you will be done by the end of the year.

  4. As VJ is very much focused on immigration TO the USA, I am not sure you will find your answer here (I am from Ireland but have no idea...).

You or your husband may already be familiar with this site, but try boards.ie for your question regarding your daughter. Especially the Living Abroad forum often has questions about Americans moving to Ireland: www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?...

  5. You are better off asking in the forums- you can put your income if you want but as you know, it doesn;t count, so I would put 0.

  6. Hi,

yes they do fiance visas as long as you are legally resident in Ireland.

  7. You need to apply for AOS to get AP and work auth, but it is very likely that you'l get those two things months before the actual greencard.

  8. Thanks for your comment. I am just online a lot right now for work and check VJ then. I don't have the time to read all posts, so most posts I moderate I get reports about- if you see a rude post or one in a wrong forum, report it by clicking the yellow open lock icon to the bottom left of the post, and the next moderator online will deal with it.

  9. Glad it helped! Yes, boy/girl twins now 3.5 years old, and a little girl 1.5 :)

  10. Cool, where did you live? We are in Rogers, where my husband grew up, though when we met, he lived in Jonesborough.

  11. Thanks for your comment. I recently got a few VJers thinking I am male because of my pic with the Razorback baseball cap, so I thought I'd change it :) I love babywearing, it makes my live so much easier with two toddlers to take care of too.

  12. We used ebookers.ie and cheaptickets.com

  13. Hey,

yay another Irish person in AR! Whereabouts are you moving to? Bring lots of tea biscuits! I know it is strange, such a simple thing, but they have nothing like it here and I really miss them.

I found the embassy really easy going and the staff friendly. For example, we had to cross out and re-write a date on one of the forms because I wrote it European style, and I

  14. Then a line, another big bold thing saying "Police Certificate", and then some details on you (name, dob, last couple of adresses and then (hoipefully) "not convicted of any crime while residing in Ireland" then the stamp and signature of the superintendent and date.

  15. He got his own handwritten app back? No that is wrong, but the cert is very basic. You fill in a yellow form and a couple of weeks later get back a one page cert, white paper, with An Garda Siochana in big bold letters on the top, followed by their emblem and the address of the issuing superintendent. ...

  16. Didn't realise you'd just become a USC a couple of weeks ago, congrats!

  17. No, he just signed it.

  18. Hi, yes he left the tax stuff blank (well, he wrote "none" as you are not supposed to leave any area of any form blank.)., and then gave me the little explanation letter which he signed to bring along.

  19. Hey- I've no way if increasing storage, sorry! You'd need to PM Ewok.

  20. Really cute wedding pics!

  21. Hi T-Bone, just testing something!

  22. I keep meaning to say, I love your cats! Are they Norwegian Forrest Cats? We have a rescued ex-breeder NFC, but she is black (I volunteer for a cat rescue)

  23. I really like it here, very family friendly if you decide to have kids. But do be prepared for culture shock, from small things (language, such as taps are called faucets; all drinks have tons of ice), to the weather, to needing a car to get anywhere, to the gun culture, and the fact that Arkansas is middle America, thus very conservative.

  24. Then he gave me a slip of paper and sent me off to the Blackrock Hospital, where I had blood taken for the STD and drug tests and an x-ray done to check for TB. I collected the medical in a sealed envelope a few days later, but was verbally told it was all fine.

I live at the opposite end of Arkansas from you, in Rogers, NW Arkansas. I really like it here, very family friendly if you de
